Too Many Flashbacks, Slow Pacing, and Excessive Product Placement
I found the beginning of the series interesting, even with a premise that feels a lot like fanfic. I enjoyed getting to know the characters up until episode 4, but from that point on, the pacing became slow and repetitive. The flashbacks and nightmares started to get tiring, and the plot didn’t seem to move forward. I was expecting more action and suspense, but I ended up watching a slice of life about a traumatized boy who didn’t want to go back home. On the other hand, I liked Ohm’s new ship; they have great chemistry and deserved a better-written storyline. Additionally, the excessive and poorly integrated product placements in the series made the experience even worse.
