Oh my gosh this is ridiculous! Even laugh-out-loud-unintentionally-funny at times. Almost everyone is crazy, and not just a little! Just to make the leads likable by comparison...
Dropped!
The airing schedule is a mess. It airs on Wednesdays and Fridays and sometimes also Mondays - but there's only one new ep each week, the rest is reruns.
Miomio usually has new eps of almost all J-dramas within a few hours of airing. You just need to copy/paste the native title into their search.
The mother/daughter are like friends and LOVERS,WTFFFFFFFFFFFFF-.- Then she tries to seduce her daughter's…
Well, so far (ep 3) it's not mature content at all but rather the psychological kind. It's about the mother-daughter relationship, with the clingy mother projecting herself onto the daughter and the daughter's struggle to find herself and be more independent. Although the mother is a bit creepy, it's displayed in the small moments and not big racy or dramatic scenes. It'll probably get a bit more twisted, but the tone will stay subdued.
That's why I think the wording in the synopsis gave you the wrong idea. "Like best friends and lovers" just meant that they are very close and tell each other everything.
OMG this is so good! I love all of the characters. So many layers and quirks and perfectly cast as well. Great mix of funny and poignant moments and lots of witty dialoge. I can't believe you can add so much depth to the question of whether or not to put lemon over Karage.
This sounds like another typical Kimutaku drama where he will be playing the same inspirational character as always in recent years >.< Gotta check it out anyway though...
This is such a gem. All of the characters are interesting, likeable and endearingly flawed, even the side characters, and I'm so gonna miss them and Mikuri's hilarious imagination! This was simply delightful to watch and still managed to provide some meat and not only fluff. Definitely my favorite this season =D
These results puzzle me a bit. I watched Soshite, Dare mo inakunatta and I thought that neither the drama itself nor Fujiwara in that drama were particularly good so I wonder how they ended up on all of the lists O.o
Thanks for the cool article! It's funny how I did watch quite a few J-dramas this year but still missed many of the shows that won. I'm glad Yutori got some recognition, because that show was insightful and hilarious.
I held back negative comments to give the 2nd ep a chance, but it was exactly like the first. 95% of this show…
Yeah, it's too bad it didn't go the dark way wholly =(
I'm fine with workplace dramas with insane work ethics as long as they make the individual tasks interesting or make us care about the situations, but they totally forgot both of that here.
I think I'll stick around for now as well to see how the darker element turns out.

It'll go up for sure, now that subs are starting to come out
On the other front, this is obviously a question of personal preference, but I'm pretty sure the hair stylist hates the boys!

Normally I'd think it's empty talk, but with their record it might actually happen!
