Kudos to this drama for actually killing another one of the good guys. Suspense level up! I had been so sure they…
They showed Hee Sung on the phone during the restaurant incident and lowering it just before the interview with Sung Chan. It's not definite evidence, but I couldn't stop thinking it was him since then.
This sounds promising. I am not familiar with any sites to watch a japanese drama. If someone could link somewhere…
J-drama subs are not as conveniently available as K-drama subs. You can check the Fansub Map to see the subbing status of most J-dramas (http://fansub.d-addicts.com/Jdrama_Fansub_Map_2016), including links where to get the subs. Fukigen na Kajitsu doesn't have subs out yet, but apparently it has been picked up.
With a little lag, episodes often are also available on streaming sites such as GoodDrama, though sometimes against the subbers' will.
Other than that, dailymotion usually has the raw videos within minutes after airing - you just need to search for the native title.
This show was such a pleasure to watch. Consistently heartwarming, funny and thoroughly satisfying all while delving into realistic social issues and defying gender norms. I'm going to miss this show!
I don't know who is going around clicking "unhelpful" to reviews but I'm guessing it's only because…
It's the opposite for me: I agree with the points in the review but I don't find it helpful. If I was contemplating wether to watch this show, I wouldn't consider this review because it reads like a rant, which I don't find reliable/helpful. As a result, I didn't click either.
I think most people treat the question as "do you agree?" though.
I doubt the endgame of this show will go that way, but I totally ship Miyabi with Ryotaro! So cute how her tactics worked on him, not that she actually needed them for him.
Are you maybe on a mobile device? I think it only works with desktop view. There it's directly on the main page (www.dramabeans.com). No matter what you click, it's still on the right side, though you need to scroll down a little. It's below "Recent Posts" and "Categories".
You might want to reference Dramabeans. They list the dramas incl. ep number per day in the column to the right on their page. Limited to K-drama though.
I really wonder how the public would react if something like in the last two eps did happen in real life. Sadly, I'm inclined to believe the outcome would be less fortunate...
There might be a few holes in the plot mechanics but they are easy to overlook because the show did so well in the other aspects, such as compelling characterizations with an especially intriguing villian and a smart, unpredicatble cat-and-mouse game. My biggest worry going in was that the negotiations might come off forced, but they felt organic and actually persuasive. The show also managed to constantly create tension and suspense and delivered a great message along with food for thought.
The heroine's superficial and entitled and the shows attempts at moral justification are super lame imo. But then…
Hmm.... I don't dislike monologue per se, because it gives you full insight into the character's thoughts. It's the content I find iffy here, like her bet.
The heroine's superficial and entitled and the shows attempts at moral justification are super lame imo. But then there's Narimiya Hiroki oozing charisma and Ichihara Hayato, who was barely in the first ep but already delivered intensity. The chemistry got me hooked.
The premise doesn't sound like anything special, but the characters make it super endearing. I absolutely adore Hayako! There's also lots of fun bonding going on.
"He rarely expresses his feelings", well, then Sota is perfectly cast I guess....
You would think so, but not expressing things is more difficult to act imo. You can see Sota trying to act expressionless... which he managed better when he was not trying, sigh. I inexplicably like him regardless, just wish he'd start improving already. Luckily, this drama hinges on the emotions of the supporting cast and doesn't require too much depth from Sota's acting.
Edit: I think this drama is good for him. He's better with comedy than with subtle emotion, and his character here has lots to do in the former category. I actually like his comedic timing and expressions here =)
I'm actually contemplating whether to watch this drama or not. I'm a big fan of Japanese drama, only and only…
DOTS is from the same writer as The Heirs and while I'd say DOTS is an improvement, it does have similar flaws (mainly the lack of plot other than romance). DOTS was enjoyable for me, but it is definitely extremely cheesy!
If you want to give K-drama another try, I'd recommend you watch Signal instead. I think it's quite compatible with J-dramas tonally and not cheesy at all. It's a crime, mystery, suspense though and not a romance.
It feels like This show is taken from a manga. I think i have heard this title or a similar title before. TBS…
It's certainly not the most original and has a fair share of cliches, but I wouldn't say it's bad. I find Seiji's stereotyping offensive and him difficult to like, but it's really Miyabi who carries the show and she's super endearing and relatable. So I think it's going to be cute enough =)

The show has it's cute moments though.
I don't think it's a real spoiler, but just in case xD
