see i agree with you, fantasy is literal my fave drama i always find myself wanting a happy ending for everyone however i think the tragic element sometimes is what makes the drama more touching, memorable and something that stick with you, for example tragedy show somehow always end up on favorite drama lists it's weird but it's true , i find myself always forgetting the shows with happy endings and only treasuring ones that had some sort of tragic element to them

they actually closed the scene in the epilogue before she got to choose between who to ride with to ask the question…
yeah but since it's based on the actual empress ki, we knew at some point she'll end up beside ta hwan regardless off her feelings in order to seek revenge , we wang yu supporters would always believe she would've choosen wang yu and that he indeed was her true love n if she was given a chance to choose again and that makes us feel a little less heart broken ...

i personally think he did what's right by the sacrifice, he was the one killing all these human, and eating those soul, he acknowledged that it was his fault from the begining that the immogi was brought back to life, he also help in the imoogi get rid of the fox bead in ji ah when he sold of his brother the judge magician soo ... it was his way of saying sorry and repenting however it hurt me that he didn't get to say goodbye :(

i can't believe how so identical our thoughts were, i also thought that if he had sacrificed himself to eat the scale instead of his brother it would've been greater touching story... but i was glad tho he got the chance to reincarnate, i knew at the beginning of the story he was gonna end up sacrificing himself to pay for all the chaos he had a great role in bringing back to the world and his brother and he was my favorite character too, but the ending seem reasonable
soooo sooo freaking excited for this show ..... love the synopsis i hope with all my heart this won't have such a bad secon lead syndrome.... i love both main leads

i think it depends on the character tho, i've never seen her as stiff and have always enjoyed her acting, in hotel del luna i didn't feel the chemistry between her and the male lead but i feel like he was the person not reciprocating the feels however with the second male lead being lee do hyun she had amazing chemistry hence why i wish to see them again

yeah i've been thinking of that too.. mouse is usually a prey but in the first episode he managed to kill that snake, so maybe it is to say the murderer acts like an innocent prey when in fact he's the actual murderer maybe ??? i feel like by saying this i'm pointing fingers at JBR but it's only a possibility
