it was a perfect first kiss for that era and for a girl like gil chae in my opinion who's still confused, he didn't wanna freak her out and of course, at the time he didn't think she loved him so it made sense that it was more like a peck than that proper kiss you are talking about

People Saying this reminds them of mouse is honestly so untrue, this one can’t even compare… I don’t even have it in me to keep watching it while I remember suffering because of all the waiting I did while watching mouse as it aired. It was so intriguing and exciting while this doesn’t make me feel any anticipation.. nothing about it reminds me of mouse, I think it’s just another thriller That’s all there’s is to it

i didn't care for the original and i dropped it at ep 6/7 however i wonder if this would be any different

It’s called yeonin “ lovers” in Korean and I kinda like that title more .. I like my dearest of course but lovers seem better suited and like the original name ! 😇

no man you could see how effy and annoyed he gets around gil chae .... his attitude is acting up and showing up more clearer on his face in the past episodes .. ep 8 he told that story to try to convince jang hyun that she won't forget the other man he also lied to him about her looking at him when the war news broke out in the previous episodes ..

because she scared and because he used to tell her about all the women he has and how he doesn't wanna marry and all of this it's normal to be a bit skeptical, and he tells her he cares about her and wants her heart but he also chooses to consistently leave .. just a bunch of misunderstandings and confusion and some fear of the unknown for her maybe .. she's always been used to the idea of yun jeon , now that she's in love with jang hyun she doesn't know how to act, he's different from what she expected and jnag hyun thinking she loves the other man is another barrier for them .. i think both of them need to be more honest
