How to mess up a solid premise
Things I liked
1 The premise. Not original but it had the potential to be great. Heartwarming, funny and relatable.
2 The baby. Well, it's a given but it was adorable.
3 The ML. I think he did a great job with the material they gave him. This was the first drama I think I wanted with him and I'll probably check to see if he has anything else I'd like. I also want to point out that his character was great. I mean he carried the show in a way, well, what little there was to carry anyway.
Things I disliked
1 The plot. How on earth do you mess up such a simple plot. You don't even need to think to know how the story goes and to create compelling scenes and all you do is giving me a romance between the FL and the SML? This wasn't the premise! When you break up your promise there's nothing to save. The viewer will be mad and rightly so.
2 The 2ML. Although not his fault, his character was weak and boring and the actor didn't do a good job. I want to give him a second chance because maybe it was the character that didn't work, but here it was quite a disaster. There is no 2ML syndrome here, quite the opposite actually.
Things I hated
1 The FL character. Yes the actress is untalented as one can be although to be fair, maybe it was the director the problem. That said I didn't finish another series she was in so maybe not. Let's blame both and also the writers. Who the heck writes a FL this way' this is recipe for disaster. You can't expect viewers to like such a weak and irresponsible character. The few times you want to cut her some slack they manage to ruin it with the next scene. So character and actress a match made in hell. I feel sorry for the actress to be honest because I'm quite confident everyone blames her for the failure of this drama.
