Potatoes and rom com, not a bad combination after all

Things I adored

1 The crew of the Potato Lab and their relationship. Probably many disliked how nosy they were but I grew up in a close family and know that when you love someone you appear to be nosy because you care. I'm all for privacy but I learned early on to never judge and rather appreciate any kindness and meddling that comes from the heart.

2 The friendship between the FL and the 2FL. I think this is how a genuine and true friendship looks. I loved how honest they were with each other and how they cared for each other. They were funny which is always a plus.

Things I loved

1 The FL. She was feisty yes, but the actress did a good work to convey emotions and she was great in the sad and the funny parts. I see many don't like her but I've only seen a funny, intelligent hardworking person who did everything she could to move forward with her life and chose to see the good side on everything.

2 The romance between the main leads. It was a great enemies to lovers rom com and they nailed it for most parts. Yes. there were some things they could have handled better, but at the end of the day their relationship was a real romcom. I didn't see any of them like a doormat. It's always funny t me that some think the ML was in the wrong whilst others the FL. No one was a bad person. Their relationship was believable and cute and funny.

3 The brother of the FL. He was a good brother and the only thing I didn't like was that his sister could use violence sometimes. I don't find violence funny an any form so that always bothers me. I didn't care for hos relationship either, I'd prefer they didn't go down that road but I just skipped some scenes when it was about his relationship with the 2FL.

4 I lived the wife of the ex of the ML. She came across as a real person and an honest one regarding her faults and feelings. I loved her friendship with the ML. I wish she could find happiness.

5 The ML. I loved the actor although sometimes I was baffled of how attractive I found him whilst others not at all. So weird. In any case he did a despicable thing regarding the FL, but for him it was just work and I totally understand why the FL accepted to be with him. He was honest, he did what he could to redeem himself by giving up his job, and he tried hard to become a better person. What else can we ask from someone? I thought the actor did a good job with the romance part and the funny beats. They were a good couple with the FL. There was chemistry between them, and their kisses were for once good.

6 The 2 FL. I thought the actress was cute, talented and she had a great sense of humor. I loved how she portrayed her role, she was a great friend, and I just wish the romance was with someone else.

Things I liked

1 That it was about potatoes. A different and interesting background.

Things I disliked

1 The ex. I don't put him in the "Things I hated" list because for once I think he paid for his stupid decisions and that he regretted genuinely his behavior. I didn't like the actor at all, he was looking close to 50 than 38 and I can't truly believe a young woman like his wife would fall for him. I just thought he was unappealing.

The young couple stole the show

The things I adored

1 The young ML. He was gorgeous and also a great actor. I felt everything he felt whether it was pain or joy. He did a wonderful job showing his feelings and he was also a great character. He had chemistry with the young FL. One of the best couples I've ever seen.

2 The young FL. What a luminous actress. She embodied her role perfectly. She had great chemistry with the young ML and she also managed to make me feel everything she felt. I wanted them together so much. I cried quite a few times, I laughed as well. The best part of this drama was the young couple.

3 I love the concept of high school sweethearts meeting again later in life. It didn't deliver what I was hoping because of the main couple, but still, the theme is one of my favorites and the story was quite good.

4 The last scene. It was the perfect ending. I just had to close the eyes and imagine the young couple there.

The things I loved

1 The script. It was believable to me and except for some silly parts it was good. Overly dramatic as well for some things but a solid script nevertheless.

The things I liked

1 The 2 ML. I didn't care about his relationship with the FL, but all in all he wasn't a bad person. He was decent and had an interesting backstory.

2 The friendship between the FL and the 2 FL. I liked how supportive she was and open and honest.

3 Some of the school members. They were funny and cared.

4 How the story ended with the rivalry between the grandfathers.

The things I disliked

1 The ML. Difficult to put him on the "disliked list" when I liked the whole drama but he was completely wrong for the role. The comparison with the young ML doesn't help either. If another actor was playing this role this drama would be almost perfect. But he didn't have the physique and the wittiness to carry the role. At least the way it was written, with the rivalry and the silly bets etc. I love that kind of silliness but he couldn't deliver. Sometimes he was okay especially after they got together when he started smiling more. But he still lacked the charm his role needed.

2 The FL. She was wrong cast as well. The witty, luminous character the young FL displayed was nowhere to find. And yes, I get that the went through a lot and couldn't be the same person, but still. She wasn't charming or beautiful enough to embody the character well. Actually the couple had he same issues. They were good together, but not for this kind of role. Both are average, both look way older than the 36 year olds they're supposed to play, and both tried too hard to be funny. Some of the expression the FL had were awful. She didn't play well the charming, quirky, dynamic lead. The young couple carried the story to be honest. She was better when she started smiling, but not enough to save the role. I'm surprised by such a bad casting when they nailed the casting of the young couple.

The story about the other kids at school. To be honest i didn't care at all.

2 The second couple. Didn't care either. The actor was too old and haggard and the actress could do better.

The things I hated

1 The way the FL dressed. So unflattering, and the worst wedding dress I've ever seen in my life in movies and actual life. What the heck was that?

2 The wench who played the supposed friend. I hate the actress in all her dramas, that's given. But here I hated the way no one hold her responsible. What the actual heck? Why the FL would give her a free pass? What she did was despicable and she did it again. it's not like the learned her lesson, like she regretted. She just backed down when she didn't have a choice. Are we supposed to believe that any person who'd lose 18 years of happiness with someone and went through painful moments because of her would let her off the hook so easily? And even if that person exists how is that normal? How is it normal to destroy someone's happiness and to never face the consequences. Despicable as I said on all levels.

Uneven and disappointing

Things I liked

1 That is was a law theme series. I love everything that has a law premise. That said, it started well and then it changed and went downhill. Some episodes were decent some were awful. It wasn't only the cases but the way they glossed over, and they rarely managed to move me. It happened but not as much as I thought.

2 The ML. Actually I hesitated were to pout him. I could also put him in the things I disliked, but he was better than the rest of the cast so I have to acknowledge this. That said, I thought he was looking quite old, his acting was too restrained, more than the role required, and even in the moving scenes he was holding back. Though he was better than the FL. Still a decent performance.

Things I disliked

1 The FL. I don't think she was good in this role. It felt like she had no idea how to act. She didn't deliver her smart ideas in a convincing way. She wasn't able to move me when she talked about her sister and the whole family debacle. To put it bluntly she didn't make me care.

2 The ML ex wife. I didn't hate her as others because I think she was flawed but I could clearly see what happened and how it was difficult for her to make the right decision. I don't excuse her, I just think she was a normal human being who made mistakes. She should have owned her mistakes sooner though.

3 The lack f chemistry. Unfortunately even though they tried both actors didn't manage to have any sparks between them. It felt to me like two high school students read their script instead of living it. After having seen so many K and C dramas, I can say that for me both were wrong for their role.

Things I hated

1 The FL mother. No redemption arc could save her. I loathed her and I wish she paid for what she did. There's no excuse for being such a coward and despicable human being.

2 The culprit in the animals case. I know he was there for an episode but he was one of the worst villains I've ever seen and it made me hurt, really hurt. My stomach was in knots.

3 The 2ML. I thought he was childish and so boring and stupid. I didn't like at all the way he chased the 2FL. I didn't feel their couple was one to rule for. I hate age gap but in this case it wasn't about that. He just seemed so immature from the first time he courted her to the stupid proposal. That was one of the stupidest I've ever seen. I wish she'd rejected him.

4 The ending. The conversation between the leads. So trite and pseudo philosophical. Who the heck says things like that with a straight face? It was like they both read a script and not having a genuine conversation and I'm the queen of such conversations. There was no passion, no conviction, nothing. One of the less satisfying endings out there. Not to mention the memorial like we went through the dead people after a reward ceremony. Awful.

5 The ex wife's husband. I just mention it because he was so insecure and stupid it ruined every scene he was on.

6 Some cases like the animal and the bulling cases. I do get why they did it and I applaud that, but it was too hard to watch for a series that wasn't supposed to be that brutal. As for the last case it takes the crown for the most stupid case and the most stupid outcome. I didn't get what he gained or why she behaved like nothing had changed. Both idiots.

I would have rated it higher if I didn't dislike all the actors except the FL

Things I loved

1 The FL. Such a gorgeous actress and although she overdid it sometimes, she's a good actress and she made me fall for her. I do think though that she exaggerated sometimes to the point that I cringed. Still, she must be the most beautiful actress I've ever seen in a Kdrama and I will look for other series from her.

2 The premise. It was interesting and the mix of a mystery with rom com is my favorite thing to watch. The problem is that this was too heavy and personal and it took away from my enjoinment. That's the reason it's on the "I loved" list and not the "I adored" list.

3 The last episode and especially the ending. I loved the way it ended and for the first time I was on board with every scene. This is also on the "I loved" list because there was no kiss. Not even one. What the heck? I waited 16 episodes for the Happy Ending and I don't get even a kiss. Lame.

Things I liked

1 The ML. Apparently people adore him. I don't. I don't find him especially handsome and compared to the FL there was no comparison actually. She was gorgeous, he was average. That said, I warmed on him and I think he was a good actor. So in the end I liked him while at first I thought I would drop it because he wasn't ML material to me.

2 The ML friend. I liked how she made the happy ending possible. She was also beautiful and a good actress.

3 The FL mother. I wasn't in love with her, but she was an interesting character. I disliked quite a few things about her, but not enough to put her on the "I dislike" list.

Things I disliked

1 The 2ML. Oh God. He was the reason I thought a million times to drop the drama. I find him awful as an actor, I find him the opposite of attractive and I so didn't care about him. Really. He reminded me of someone who traveled from the 50's and had no idea we are in the 21st century. From the physique to the attitude.

2 The prosecutor who ended with the 2ML. What an irritating character and an actress without any charisma. I wanted her to disappear for most of the series. Maybe one of the 2FL I disliked the most.

Things I hated

1 The FL father. Where to start? The actor was awful, the character was beyond any redemption to me. I felt uncomfortable any time he appeared on the screen. Who the heck has that kind of relationship with his wife and daughter in this era? Those who have belong to jail. Abusive verbally and even physically. No redeeming qualities for me no matter how hard they tried. I hated hi, from he first scene to the last one.

2 How the prosecutors office behaved with the FL at first. Even if she was different and didn't match their idea of a prosecutor, they were cruel and bad mannered. An awful bunch of idiots.

Difficult to rate

Things I adored

1 The 2FL. Such a great character, so grounded and enthusiastic at the same time.

2 The small boy. What a cute boy and what a great actor. His character was my favorite and I adored his relationship with the 2 FL.

Things I loved

1 The beginning. It had so much potential to be funny and interesting

2 The mothers. The ML and FL mothers were absolutely great. I loved their friendship, and how they were there for each other. I also loved the 2FL mother although I wish she could ditch her stupid husband.

3 The mothers' team and how supportive they were with each other. Heartwarming, but also funny and inspiring.

4 The ML. I thought at first I wouldn't like him at all because the actor wasn't appealing to me. But, rare enough to mention it, I warmed on him and I thought his character was great. He did act silly sometimes, but all in all he was decent and funny and never did anything I could blame him. Not even when he thought she was married. He didn't deny his feelings but he didn't do anything to ruin her marriage. I loved how he was with his team and

5 The relationship of the ML with his mother. I loved how he fought about her.

6 Small scenes like when they prepare food, or they are in bed. There were many scenes sprinkled all over I loved.

Things I liked

1 The ending. I know many didn't like the ending, and the amnesia plot. I get it. Personally, I dislike the amnesia plot that lasts, but here it was short and it didn't bother me. I thought it was funny to be honest. I'm all for tropes, so no problem there. The only thing that bothered me is that we didn't have enough time with them being a couple.

2 The FL. I didn't love her. I'm not sure what the problem is. At first I didn't like any of the leads but I more than warmed to the ML while I still found the FL lacking. It's not only bout looks, although yes, I don't think she's attractive. it's more how she played the role. Except from some scenes where she moved me, she was weird. Like when they kissed one time and I thought she was awful. She froze in a weird pose and had a lost look. So uncomfortable. Also, she's un ugly crier and yes, these are details, but they all contributed to think that the 2FL should be the lead.
The series would be wonderful if the 2FL was the FL. better acting chops, much more attractive and also more luminous. Anyway, I didn't dislike her, but I don't think I'll watch another drama with her. As it happens, I've seen another one where she was part of the main cast and I found her a bad actress there as well.

Things I disliked

1 Not enough time with them as a couple. It felt rushed and I don't think it needed more episodes. I need it needed better directing.

2 The FL sister. Yes in the end she tried to redeem herself, but what the heck? How can you be so irresponsible and bring others to your mess?

Things I hated

1 The ML father. Not an ounce of sympathy from me. Such an awful father and person. I would love to see him go to jail.

2 The "sister" of the ML. Not only I thought she was a bad actress but every time I looked at her I had goose bumps because she looked like a mummy to me for some reason. Of course I hated her character and didn't like at all how she ended. I would love for her to pay for her awful actions.

3 The 2FL brother. Well, what else to say about him that he was a poor excuse of a human being. 'm happy he got what he deserved.

4 The 2ML. I can't stretch enough how much I disliked the actor, the character and the hole plot around him. I wasn't happy at all that he ended with the 2FL. She deserves someone who values her and someone who knows how to deal with adults. He may have been a great father but he was a crappy friend and romantic interest. I'm not sure I liked him a single second and I know it's harsh but he rubbed me the wrong way from the start.

5 The whole triangle. What the heck? That was angst for the sake of angst. He could pretend be married to her without having feelings for her. I could have liked him then and the romance between him and the 2FL could have been more interesting, sweet and something to rule for. He was the worst part of the drama. Oh, and an awful actor to top that. I never felt anything watching him. Not even when he was with the kid apart one or two scenes. The FL played the parts with the kid a million times better.

It wasn't a bad drama and it had some funny, inspiring heartwarming moments. It could be better, though. Still, better than many for me and I watched all the episodes which is rare enough to mention.

Sweet but not my favorite

Things I loved

1 The four girls. Different personalities but all attaching and interesting.

2 The University backdrop. I love this kind of stories.

3 The acting. I think they were good actresses.

Things I liked

1 The love stories. Some good, some I didn't care.

2 How the girls changed during the series. It was realistic enough and interesting enough.

3 I didn't love the actress playing the elder sister. She looked old and didn't fit with the rest of the girls.

Things I disliked

1 The story of Lang Lang. Nope. I wasn't happy with the ending.

2 I thought it was boring sometimes.

All in all it's a good series but some things didn't click with me.

Uncomfortable

Things I liked

1 The premise. Unrequited love and second chances are two of my favorite tropes so I was glad to read the synopsis. I thought it'd be one of my favorites.

2 The friendship between the girls. I've seen friendships I liked better but it wasn't bad.

3 One of the 2ML. He was adorable and I was sad to see he waited for the 2FL. I didn't like her at all. I wish he broke up with ehr for good. Drama for the sake of drama.

4 The ML mother. I just liked the actress and her character.

Things I disliked

1 The FL. I don't think she's a great actress. I think she's bland. She didn't make me feel for her. Not funny either so not the best casting for the role.

2 The ML. He's making me uncomfortable for some reason. I don't know what is the problem. That he looks too young? That his character wasn't that great, even when they tried to make us like him? I still found him obnoxious.

3 The 2ML. Too goofy for me. Not the right drama for this.

4 The lack of chemistry between all the couples but especially between the main couple. Something didn't click with them.

7 just for the likable characters

Things I liked

1 The premise. I always love premises where someone has to fight to get on the top, especially if they fell from the top.

2 The FL. She isn't my favorite and I won't look for other dramas with her, but she was fun and I liked how she played the role. Her character was decent and she made me care for her. I wanted her to succeed. It's just that she wasn't someone I fell in love with. That said, she had some moments where I loved how she delivered her lines. She was funny.

3 The ML. He was good, but not great. I don't think he was good at the playboy part. He was bland and he didn't brought anything special to the series. To put it simply, anyone could pay his role and most as well, probably even better.

4 The mother. I liked her relationship with her daughter.

5 The 2 couple. They had some fun scenes and she was gorgeous. To be honest, I think these two would be better for the main couple. Better chemistry. All in all, nothing unpleasant, just nothing extraordinary either.

Sweet, moving, gorgeous actors, great production quality

Things I loved.

1 The plot. It was simple but so well done that it doesn't matter. I'm a sucker for Best Friends to Lovers trope and I've seen my fair share of series and read hundreds of book with this trope. This one was one of the best. It was subtly done and it felt real.

2 The actors. I rarely found a couple with both the leads being great actors. I think they did a wonderful job conveying how they felt. No need for exaggeration, their acts, words, expression were truly enough to make us rule for them.

3 The past interactions. They were shown at the right moment and were important to understand their relationship.

4 The second couple and their relationship with the main couple. No need for a lot of words to show they are true friends.

5 How the story evolved to get to the realization for the FL of her feelings and of the feelings of the ML. It didn't feel forced. It could happen to anyone.

Things I liked:

1 The mum. She had few scenes but she was good at them. I liked how she got everything and helped the ML.

2 I liked the attitude of the producer.

Things I disliked:

1 That's because I have to say something, and of course it's meaningless, but the pull he wore in the last scene was beyond awful. What the heck was that? What she wore wasn't much better by the way.

2 The kiss wasn't memorable in my opinion. It should be longer, more close up and fiery.

3 I disliked that it wasn't longer. Because I needed my dose of them talking and kissing and dating after they confessed their feelings. It's a pity that it ended without them talking about their feelings.

Difficult to review this one

Things I loved:

1 The scenes from the past. They were well done and the little children were adorable. Their relationship was great.

2 The little girl, the niece of the 2ML. Great actress and such a cute child. The character as well was great.

3 The friendship between the FL and the 2FL. It felt real.

4 The last episode. I think it was one of the best along with the one titled sweet love. The ending was moving and funny and rewarding for those who spent so much time watching this long series. I loved how they gave us a glimpse of everyone's future and current life.

5 The partner of the ML in the architectural firm. I loved his character. He was necessary to break some over the top seriousness sometimes.

6 The actress of the ML. What a beautiful woman and good actress. Actually I liked most of the acting. I think they were all quite good.

7 The will of the male leads and the partner to help the old lady with her house and then preserve the neighborhood.

Things I liked:

1 Even though the women could be annoying and their fight were sometimes ridiculous, I think their friendship was great. When needed they were there for each other.

2 I also like the siblings relationship. I have two sisters and two brothers and we love each other to death but we can fight and their relationship reminded me especially the one between my younger sister and younger brother. They don't hit each other but they can tease each other mercilessly.

3 I liked that she changed careers and went for what she dreamed.

4 I liked the ex of the FL. He was a kind person and I was sorry he had to go through all this.

5 I liked the relationship between the brother and the girl from the firm. It was sweet and I'm happy to imagine them together in the future.

6 I liked the ex of the ML. Beautiful and poised and also a decent human being.

7 I liked the second couple, I just didn't love it. But compared to other series where I don't care at all for them there it was quite good.

Things I disliked:

1 The clothes the ML wore. What the heck? Sometimes he looked like a child in men's clothes. So distracting and stupid to overlook this. Don't they have eyes?

2 The relationship between the fathers was over the top sometimes. I mean I understand the drinking, but what the heck? Almost every encounter between them was around a bottle of alcohol. Their reactions were more ridiculous than endearing sometimes.

3 The scarce the mother of the ML had. It was underdeveloped and frankly idiotic. It was an insult to those who truly have issues actually. They should have found something else to write about.

4 The fights between the women. Over the top as well and so unnecessary. Drama just for the sake of drama.

5 The nonsensical theme of the restaurant that never had any clients and yet he's supposed to have enough money to support his family. That didn't make sense from the start.

6 I hated that the FL wasn't playful enough, that she didn't show how much he loved him. We saw some glimpses but it was mostly him and that bothered me. I don't know. Sometimes I felt they had chemistry especially when they saw something from the past or when they bickered at the beginning but it never really felt like they were crazy in love and that's important to me when there's romance. So I don't know what to think about their chemistry.

Things I hated:

1 That it was advertised as a rom com and that it wasn't. I hate when I start a series with certain expectations to get disappointed and this one disappointed me even though it was well done. It still wasn't a rom com.

2 The cancer story. Too heavy and although emotional and had its place in a drama it hadn't any place in a rom com.

3 I hated with the passion of thousand suns the words the NL led used before they had sex. I hope it was just the translation because if he really referred to having sex and especially with someone you're supposed to be in love for thirty years as unhealthy thoughts and bad thoughts, they all need to see a psychiatrist. I don't see the need to use such vocabulary. I may not care to see explicit scenes in a series but for heavens' sake behave like adults. There's no romantic relationship without the need to be physically with someone you love. Otherwise it's called friendship. There's nothing unhealthy, bad or I don't know what other stupid word he used to describe how he felt.

4 I also hated the way the main couple but also the second couple in some way behaved. We are talking about people who are 34, not 15, not 20, not 25. 34. And they can't talk about their relationship as adults? They can't express how much they want each other and how much they love each other as adults? They behave as if the were 15. Lamentable. This is the first series in which the couples were so old and behaved so juvenile.

5 I hated that the series made it sound like the parents could ever have any saying in the relationship of their 34 year old children. I get the families that are close and that are interfering in each other's lives but here ridiculousness reached a new height. And really for a year after they got together they didn't live together? What the heck? That's why I said it's difficult to review this series. So many things I liked but also so many I disliked. It started well but got lost somewhere on the road.

Just boring

Reasons I dropped this movie:

1 The main reason is that although I found the plot intriguing, it didn't deliver. I found it boring and after 50 minutes I went and watched the five last minutes. Something was amiss. It should be cute and funny but it didn't work for me.

2 I liked the actors but I didn't love them in this.

Hated the ending

Why I disliked this movie:

1 The main actor wasn't right for this kind of movie. Not charismatic in the least and I didn't care about his character.

2 The direction. It didn't give me any feelings and that's difficult to happen to me. You can easily make me cry, laugh or move me. Here I was of stone.

3 The ending. Why would I spend two hours for such an ending? Maybe I'm being unfair but it wasn't what I expected and that means the plot or the description failed me.

My second actor crush - It would be a 10 if only it had a decent kiss or some truly romantic scenes

Things I loved:

1 The male lead actor. Gorgeous and such a good actor. He doesn't have the beauty of Ji Chang Wook, but I had an equal crush on him. He's more mature, more rugged, but as much talented and handsome.

2 Mrs. Shi. I don't think I've ever liked a secondary character more than her. This is what every employer should aspire to and every woman and man. Not only the character was great, but the actress also was stunning and played the role to perfection. she was believable as the thoughtful, smart and kind CEO. Her kindness was visible in her expression and her whole demeanor. I truly loved her.

3 The setting of the story. I loved that it was a field I'm interested in and it doesn't disappoint.

4 The second couple. Both great actors and great characters. At first I thought the second female lead would be the rival and disliked her a lot. But once she changed, I loved her more and more. I loved their relationship with the male lead. Their friendship felt genuine and moving. I think from all the second couples I've seen this is my favorite.

5 The team in the male lead's company. Those who stayed with him were all great characters.

6 The secretary. her interactions with the male lead were so cute. I loved that in the end she'll have her happy ending. Song was also a great character even though he wasn't often on screen.

7 I loved the partner of his father. Such a wise and kind woman. I loved how she treated the male lead and how their relationship was portrayed.

8 The cinematography. Gorgeous views of Shanghai.

9 The heroine's parents. What a funny, warm, caring and wise couple. The family dynamic was great to watch.

10 I want to add separately how much I loved the friendship between the male lead and the second male lead. Their friendship was so good to watch. It was fun and at the same time moving how they interacted depending of the situation.

11 I loved the witty dialogue between the main leads especially in the first half when there were so many witty exchanges. It slowed down later and that displeased me. I don't know why they can't keep things on the same lever when it comes to the identity of a show. They can make the characters evolve without necessary change what makes the charm of a show.

12 How capable and smart the heroine was.

13 That it's the drama I laughed the most spontaneously in some of the dialogues.

Things I disliked:

1 The father story. They could choose another way to go. To me that was heartbreaking for the male hero and he never had closure even though they tried.

2 Something futile and just for fun. The way he coiffed his hair sometimes. It seemed so unkempt and so not him.

3 The main lead actress. I know many will dislike what I say, and I'm not proud to say it either, but although she's pretty, she's not attractive to me and I don't think she was a good match for the actor. I never stopped imagining someone else like Bai Lu in her place. I know it's not fair and she's a talented actress, no doubt about this, but because I didn't find her attractive enough for the male lead, there was no romantic chemistry between them. I even felt like the actress didn't know how to play the romantic scenes well. She was great while she sparred with him, but I've never felt like she cared about her boyfriend or the male lead romantically. I get that they focused on the business side of the story and how she fulfilled her dreams, but it's a miss in my opinion not to give is more romance. Anyway the 10 is for the male lead and some witty dialogues, but not for the actress unfortunately.

4 I didn't care about the friend from the past. She wasn't a bad character, just underwhelming for me and not necessary at all. She didn't contribute anything to the story. It could be great without her.

4 The non communication between the father and the male lead. I know it was meant to show that he struggled in life as well, but I would like another resolution as I said before.

5 The best friend of the female led. Her character irked me. Yes her boyfriend turned out to be a scumbag but what the heck was she doing living the life of a lazy person who only wanted someone to dot on her. Despicable and I hate that kind of women. She's supposedly changed and the hint of romance between her and the factory owner was great, but it doesn't redeem her for being such a leech before and excuse her behavior because he promised her to take care of her. What the heck?

Things I hated:

1 The lack of any romantic scenes. Really? You write such a good script and you have a great actor as male lead and you don't think it would add to the enjoinment to add some romantic moments between them? Real romantic moments where both leads were present and could witness each others feelings grow. We were robbed as viewers of watching their romance grow. I wanted to lower my rating just for that but then the male lead was so good I couldn't.

2 The boyfriend of the female lead. The moment he appeared I disliked the actor so much that he could be a great character and I'd never warm on him. Like at first sight, there's have at first sight. That's what happened to me when he appeared on my screen. Not only I don't like his appearance, but he also made me think of someone I'd never like to meet in my life. It's weird how our feelings work.
Of course the character he played didn't help changing my first impression. I hated his character more than anything and I didn't feel the smallest kind feeling and understanding about him. He chose to do what he did and he wasn0t redeemed because he did the right thing i n the end. He hit her so there will never be any redemption for him. he should have treated whatever problems he had before ruining other people's lives. Despicable character, unattractive actor. Comparing him and the boyfriend of the best friend who mislead the main couple, I'd still have more understanding for the boyfriend of the best friend of the heroine.

3 The last episode. Although I loved seeing everyone and it was fun to see how they evolved and where they are now, how the heck do you spend so much time on the scumbag? Who cares what happens to him? Give us the result in one minute and move to the main couple or anyone else for that matter. That was a big failure and I don't get why they did it. They could have wrapped up this story in the previous episode. We didn't need the musings of that stupid character.
I also hated that the main leads had only 5 minutes, really five minutes, to decide to be together. What is wrong with the writers and the director? How on earth is this satisfactory for everyone who watched 32episodes and invested their time on the series? And of course there's declaration of love, there's no tenderness, nothing cute or romantic. Such a let down, I almost cried. I was waiting for that last episode, hoping they would have the time to talk about their feelings. Unbelievable and so frustrating.

4 I hated the way the female lead dressed. She didn't look elegant at all. More like a child who played a grown up. Her clothes were too similar and too bland. She could be professional and at the same time elegant. Everyone else was best dressed and I loved the male lead's style. Her character was the only one to wear such uninspiring clothes. I don't get why. Same thing for her hair. They should use someone who could make her look pretty because the truth is she's pretty enough, but the clothes, and the high heels that didn't suit her at all, and the hair didn't do her any favors.

5 I can't get past the supposed kiss. It was teased and never delivered. What the heck was that? We saw them just touch the lips accidentally and they kept talking about a kiss. What kiss? Where was that kiss? It was beyond ridiculous to describe this as a kiss and it irked me a lot. I felt cheated as a viewer. And I felt both leads behaved stupidly for something that didn't even happen. That scene was so unnatural, so cringe. Not funny, not romantic, not anything other than ridiculous. And then we had to wait until the last minute to see them kiss for two seconds. Great! Good job, no one ever said.

6 I hated that the female lead had to think about breaking up with that stupid boyfriend. He hit her and she took time to send him packing. Really? Not only that but we never saw her being attached to him, so why the heck would she hesitate to make a decision about their relationship? I would get if they were together for years and it was the first time and she was surprised etc. etc. But there was no reason for her to think about it. She should have pushed him in front of a car. Sorry, I'm just so mad about that. I want the heroines to be like we should be and not like we are as women. I get the verbal sparring because leads because you can talk back and the level can be equal. You can have sharp and witty exchanges without abusing the other person. but hit someone is nowhere acceptable, so it just made me dislike the heroine who's supposed to grow and be a smart woman.

Loved the plot

Things I loved:

1 The premise. I had so much fun in the first episodes.

2 The main actress. She's beautiful and charming, perfect for a romantic comedy heroine.

3 The SFL actress. At first I thought I wouldn't like the actress, but she played her role well.

4 The SML character and the actor. I loved the character and I hope to see the actor in other series.

5 The team that worked with the heroine. I loved all of them. They were kind and funny.

Things I liked:

1 The grandfather. He was fun and I like the actor.

2 The parents of the heroine. They were interesting and funny.

Things I disliked:

1 The ending. I didn't care about the separation, it felt forced and the final episode was not romantic enough for me.

2 Lack of chemistry. Maybe I'm wrong, but it felt to me like if the actress played with someone else the whole series would be better.

3 The male lead. I'm not sure if he deserves to be here or to thinks I liked. I put him here because I don't find him attractive and that takes away from my pleasure in watching it. I imagine this series with Ji Chang Wook and feel like it would be the perfect romantic comedy. The actor wasn't funny enough and sometimes too stiff for me. On the other hand he was good enough sometimes so maybe it's not fair that I put him in the things I disliked. But the thing is that he's the sole main actor I didn't look for any other series he was in, so, I'll leave it here for now.

4 The relationship of the male lead and SML. I was expecting more warmth and to be funnier like in other series I've seen. here both were distant and couldn't convey any emotions to me.

My first series rated under 8.

Things I loved:

1 The SML. What an adorable actor and what a great character. I'd love to see him as the main lead in some series.

2 The sister of the hero. She may be over the top sometimes, but she was funny and dynamic. I loved how the actress portrayed the character.

3 The work team and how they behaved with the heroine. It was great to see them interact.

4 The supposed rival of the male lead. I loved the actor and the character. The script wasn't always good, but the actor managed to make me like the character.

Things I liked:

1 The hero. He was a good person and I didn't think he was especially mean.

2 The actor. I've seen him in Lucky's First Love, so I'm a bit biased because I loved him in that series, but I think he did a good job here as well. The script didn't help him. Sometimes it was good, sometimes it was awful. He still managed to convey some emotions well.

3 The parents of the hero. I imagine some didn't like the parents and i get why but other than some exaggerations, I found both couples caring and not too intrusive. Intrusive for me who's very independent, but not to the point I hate him.

Things I disliked:

1 The third couple. I didn't care at all about them.

2 The parents. Sometimes I thought they were too involved and in their children's lives.

Things I hated:

1 The clothes the heroine wore sometimes. What the heck was this kind of clothes? was she meant to be a nun? Usually the heroines in both Korean and Chinese dramas are dressed impeccably. Here it was atrocious.

2 The turn the story took and how the heroine behaved. Contrary to others that she went along with the "rival's" statement about the child didn't bother me. I get why she wouldn't clear the situation. It just shouldn't take that much time. But that she had such a change of heart so suddenly, although explained a bit, didn't flow for me. Her character was inconsistent.

3 Lack of chemistry. After seeing Lucky's First Love I think it was evident to me that the chemistry wasn't the same. I watched them one after another so it was easy to spot that.

4 The forced innocence. The actress is adorable and she's convincing in playing an innocent heroine, but it became too much after a while. She didn't feel real to me.

5 The "sleep together and don't remember" plot ruined the series for me. That's not romantic especially when you don't give time and space to the couple to talk about it and give the audience the satisfaction of some romantic scenes. It was awful.

6 Lack of cute and romantic scenes. They were rare and not too convincing. All in all, it started great, it had some funny and touching moments, but in the end it fell flat and I blame the main actress and the script.
