I would agree with your comment if it wasn't on this drama's page though, cus I do find this drama waste of time (no not because of siwon). Simply cus other than the romance (which I didn't like) the story had nothing else to offer. Siwon is the best thing in this drama but not enough to keep it going.

I can't believe this... and I'll have to pass a drama for GS whom I've been waiting for... argh pls would someone just REMOVE this girl from this industry!!

I love the fact that they didn't add "romance" that's the best thing in this drama because it is completely focused on what it's supposed to be focused on Mystery and Thrill!! Unlike "I remember you" this one is really thrilling

I finished this drama in 4 DAYS! My 1st 100+ eps drama and I'm glad I watched it! Amazing acting I loved both actresses. A classical melo revenge drama loved it :)

The reason I watched this in the first place is because of that recommendation because I love Secret very much. I don't regret watching this drama but I don't want people to think it's something like Secret because it's not :)

Well, Secret is one of the best melos I have ever seen in K drama and I've seen that drama TWICE (I don't watch dramas again even if I loved them I have only few that I'd watch again and Secret is one of them). The chemistry between the main lead is one like no other!! trust me It's one of the hottest on screen chemistry that I've seen. I love melodramas I don't know how to explain it but Secret is one melodrama that is really very special too special actually to be done in these recent years. By that I mean it's the kind of melo that reminds me of the beautiful time when only beautiful dramas were made which I can't find in the recent years T_T

Those two dramas can not even be in comparison table where difference and similarities is discussed to be honest. However, I can say this LW is not a melo it's more of a family drama with slight of drama, life and food (the typical family dramas the typical rich man poor woman, the typical power and money...etc). Secret is 100% melodrama and nothing related to family or any of those issues I would say it's mostly about loving someone and sacrifice and betrayal. I really recommend it :)

She is absolutely annoying here! I didn't find her as annoying in KMHM as I did here (argh clapping the teeth thing :S)!! She is a good actress but I think comedy is not the thing for her at ALL.

I know I get this point but it's not at all close to Secret even with that point... I know that it's impossible to suggest a 100% similar drama but the atmosphere the feelings that it gives while watching it should at least feel the same or somewhat similar. However in this case they absolutely have nothing in common and they don't give the same feelings at all it's absurd to be comparing it to Secret even though it was an "nice" drama it's nothing like Secret even with the framing part (which was the whole story in secret btw whereas it was just one thing of many evil doings in this drama)

I agree! I would also add that the romance was forced, there was no reason other than they were each others 1st love! I don't mind that concept what I do mind is the fact that they don't really know each other. Take HJ for ex. she thought that SJ would not accept her because she is no longer pretty which just says that she doesn't know him well. I mean would you ever keep loving someone from childhood and fall for him again when he makes you feel so insecure to the point where you hide yourself? They showed that she was mistaken which made it worse for me cus it just proves she really doesn't know him so where is that love coming from? One of the most ridiculous romance I've seen in a drama imho

okay...6 eps of happy ending is too much... Now that's said I just rated this drama for the 1st 5-6 eps because I liked them the best.. It had potential I loved all the characters (except the main guy).. I loved the relationship between the two girl friends.. I LOVED SI WON and I loved the chemistry between him and HJE.. However that wasn't enough to keep the drama going till ep. 16! The story was too shallow and weak for that many eps and the forced romance between the two leads (yes I see it as forced romance) because they did not give me any reason why those two would love each other than they were each others 1st love when they were kids!! Don't get me wrong I don't mind the 1st love concept but those two don't even know each other well how can they keep that love all these years? HJ doesn't know SJ well because if she did she would know what kind of person he is (not someone who would change his mind because she's not pretty anymore as the drama claims).. but the fact is she doesn't know him that well so what's with the 1st love thing?! How can you love someone all those years and fall in love again (again for no reason other that the 1st love thing) how is that possible?! and to make it worse the story just got so messy on the 2nd half of the drama.. Who else found the scenes between HJ and SJ in the last ep so cheesy?
This is an overrated drama. I would say Si Won is the only thing that was worth the watch.

@fiflydramalover First of all thank you for sharing your thoughts. It's true the more you watch the more you become critical I agree. However in this case it's not because I've seen many dramas with the same genre that I became "desensitised" it doesn't matter how many dramas I've seen from this genre because I keep watching melos, romance comedies...etc and I don't grow tired of them it just comes down to the fact whether I enjoyed the drama or not and I didn't. I simply don't see any of the things that most reviewers and commenters claim that this drama has presented. I think it was one of the most boring and meaningless drama I have ever seen. The characters were so childish specially GH's character (not that I hate childish characters but it was too annoying too overbearing). They did not convince me with her trauma I did not sympathise with any of of the characters (which basically was the point of the drama). I couldn't bear the romance or JIS's acting. They discussed like 3 patient cases in the whole drama only 3 and none of them were interesting. I couldn't feel the pain of any of the characters, it's as if they weren't sure whether to present the psychological issues in comic way or serious way it's like lost in between and they failed at both. This drama was too empty and too shallow for me it was trying so hard to be deep but it's not. The only thing I thought was good is JIS imaginary friend (which I could tell that it was a younger version of him). Glad it did work for you though :)

I would say one of the best "real" dramas that I've seen recently and made me think of my own life and affected me in a very positive way is "Twenty Again". This drama is so underrated.. it is one of the simplest yet beautiful refreshing and a good life lesson drama that I've ever seen. (i recommend it if you haven't seen it)

agreed. If you haven't watched "Twenty again" I really recommend it! It's realistic and fun and refreshing to watch and most importantly it has a point a strong message to deliver! One of the best realistic yet dreamland kind of drama! plus the chemistry between the main leads is one of the show's strongest points

I agree Siwon definitely shining in this drama! I bet he'll be getting more roles after this one, this drama did good for him (or should I say he did good for this drama). It had funny moments I loved the bond between the two girlfriends and I loved the 2n lead character but they just had to ruin that for me and make the 2nd lead girl another typical k drama 2nd lead who falls for the 1st lead and that drama. Even if people did enjoy this drama I can see many complaining about the mess after ep 10. This could've been way better than what it is now
