So she and her people have been trapped in a foreign land for 500 years (maybe not her bc she is her fathers daughter I forgot his name) And with her mother telling her that the only way they can go back is by killing Sima Jiao that's also the only memory we have seen of her childhood (that I remember at least) Betraying her friend yes is wrong very much so actually as well as Mr.snake. But it was not all without reason. She stuck between her people and her friends.

To ppl saying they don't believe she a general bc she is so small. That's how she was described in the novel. I'm reading one of the authors other works rn (Deng Hua Xiao) and I realized it.

I heard that they took back the 40 episode limit so we may get longer dramas. They took out a lot of the novel and kinda rushed some parts. It was still good tho

I'm not one to cry over a character death or shows but he died I cried and I cried even more reading the side stories about him and his family
