Hi there, thank you for commenting! I am sorry you need to name-call even though you know you are a troll :(. Hopefully you find something better to do with your time, because I am very happy :D!
What intriguing characters peppered throughout the storyline were dismissed? (It's been a while, so I doubt you…
Hi luckz, apologies for the late reply. I’ll be honest in saying I had to skim read through a few episode descriptions for Mouse to remember this one. ( As it was awhile back!) I’d say from what I can remember from watching the show, Mouse had a lot of fairly good character development. The plot could sometimes be a little outlandish and messy ( especially the first half) but it was fairly compact as plot narratives go. On reflection, I think where a lot of problems started to arise for me was when there were good characters who were put to the side in order to make way for the plot. I don’t think this is always necessarily a bad thing per say but often narrative events should be symbiotic with further character development; something that sometimes felt isolated in the show’s plot. This meant that there were some lingering questions and topics regarding characters which felt as though they should’ve been covered in more depth . ( Such as Take Moo Chi’s anger issues and difficulties, Bong Yi‘s obvious moments as the victim and being subdued to the role of “ tragic damsel” and Ba Reum’s “ fall from grace” feeling predictable rather than challenging or complex .) I hope that helped to outline some of my thought processes. ( Thank you again for reading 😊.)
I can understand that completely. There have certainly been a few big dramas out there which a lot of people have seemed to like but never really appealed that much for me. Thank you again for reading.
I can’t really answer that one with a definite yes or no. It really depends on what you like. If in doubt, I recommend giving it a go and seeing if it’s for you or not .
Another great review. They tackled too many issues quite superficially and completely forgot about their main…
Hi Selbee, thank you for taking the time to read my review and sharing your thoughts. Critically speaking, I have to say that the dog episode was a bit messy from a writing/ narrative perspective. Personally speaking though, I had mixed feelings about that episode. There was definitely an attempted emotional appeal there for dog/ animal owners and lovers. However, even as a dog owner myself, it was hard to really connect with the messages or circumstances in that episode because of the way it was tackled. Definitely mixed feelings there. As for my rating, I have to say that I was in a lot of debate what to give this one. I was going to give it a 6.5 . One of my reasons for rating it slightly higher than usual came through being impressed by certain subject areas tackled and the acting performances by some of the main cast . ( Especially with regards to the episode on comfort women which was quite powerful ). Thank you again for taking the time to read. 😁
Hey thanks for this review. Very in depth. Could you give me a heads up if I should bother watching this one or…
Thank you for reading. I’d say this one depends on what you want - if you like lighthearted fantasy then this one will be up your street. If you’re more of a fan of dark tales/ fantasy then it may not entirely be for you. Though by all means I’d recommend giving it a go. My review is only really a guideline as everyone’s tastes do vary!
