Watching palace dramas always reminds me how brutal feudal societies were for women. Even when a woman managed to gain influence or status, she was rarely anything more than a pawn and a bargaining chip. Power didn’t grant freedom; it just came with different chains. It’s sad to see LC who is carefree, intelligent and full of life reduced to surviving within a system made to crush her.
Let's hope sis wakes up in episode 10 or something. Clearly everyone around her is a fraud and corrupt but she has a good heart and makings of an impactful Empress as she has the people at the centre. The title is Love and Crown and not Love or Crown, so let's hope they get to keep both.
I’m just starting but…The intro song is the type to make you want to sit by the window while staring at the…
This the type of song that makes me imagine, two lovers separated by misunderstandings so when they find out, it's too late as too much hurt has been inflicted. I feel like we are in for a ride lol
Why do I feel like her Master is the Lingbi Sect's Ghost King and that is why he had to die? Because he was working for her father and the Emperor had to get rid of him because of that?
Not sure what they are saying but I may have an idea; I have seen some stuff already.I see this all the time when…
Been saying this for a while now too. The young upcoming actors bring nothing but controversy and toxic fandoms who think if they cheer just a little bit harder for their fave, they might have a chance with him. I guess because Arthur had a scandal when a paparazzi released intimate photos of him and the manager of his online fan site, they think they are next. His recent drama with an actress of similar age has also drawn some hate from antis due to ageist comments comparing her to Baba.
For the most, Arthur comes across as a good and hardworking young man who has the unfortunate curse of being handsome with parasocial fans. I hope in her upcoming projects, she is paired with only established actors or at least character actors. This is definitely the direction she is taking so I hope she gets what she wants.
The funniest thing is, whichever platform/production company picks it up, it will end up ruining it like they…
Wait is the official announced? True for the General one but the whiny way the FL called the ML was so unnecessary. They should've kept it to the novel, the FL had such an enduring spirit. It isn't the greatest novel ever but it has its merits
Ranran really did her thing in BR! Towards the end, I watched majority of the drama and loved her companionship with the leads. To the audience engagement and love for her makes me anticipate her upcoming work!
