Stuff the romance, I just want to see episodes of the two girls solving crime. I feel sorry for the siblings, they appear to have a harmonious relationship but the powers behind them want to be the hand that wields the sword.

Right and that's the kind of people who tend to thrive and have the emotional maturity to be present in the moment. This is why I stan all she does because her interviews and the things she says has profound meaning.
The editing is messy and it's affecting the pacing of the story. The side characters used for comedic relief really isn't hitting it atm. I think someone mentioned it in an earlier post but the way the FL delivers her lines, its feels mechanic. There's emotion but there's no nuance.
