It honestly feels like something that would've done well in 2014ish. Basically, the FL goes through hell and the ML is cunning, manipulative, and misogynist. He's in love with someone else but uses the FL at his convenience - when he wants to make his lover jealous, when he wants to have sex etc and our FL takes all this with a grain of salt. She's too in love with him to confront on his disgusting behaviour. Utter trash. I can see why everyone is staying away from it. I hope no one picks it up. Far better novels that can be adapted.

The Fan minister is such a lukewarm antagonist. His scenes are skippable especially when he's in his household.

Agreed! She's being more selected with her projects. That's usually how actors start and carry out their careers. Longevity really is the way to go.
