The dress is gorgeous but as always a lot Chinese stylists always fall short of the hair and make up aspect of the look when it comes to carpet. I notice that their supermodels are usually the standouts because they always take risks

Her second choice seemed a lot more fun. That hairdo was just too messy of an up-do. They should've at least had it slicked.

I quite liked it but the big puff skirt wasn't the best choice. Had they made it more figure hugging, with a slight mermaid flair down the bottom and put her in a high ponytail, she would've looked more youthful.

They need to be more adventurous with her make up too. Add a bit of a blue hue to her eye shadow.

While it does seem smart, business wise, to capitalise on the TLB's popularity now, and pair two of its stars, numbers will soon tell when production is done, censorship is complete just how well this series will do. I feel you! People associate acting as purely an explosion of emotions, but fail to realise that acting is also one's ability to restrain it especially in scenes where it calls for it. One being the scene between Luyan and Changge, where she is holding onto her dearly, trying to convince her that she never wanted to be Princess and to return home. Changge remains stoic with only a hint of an emotional trigger. It pains her that the path they must walk is different now, and even in her moment of anger, she realises this.

People nitpick but have no valid reasoning because their approach to towards the situation derives from a very narrow place of acknowledgment.
