It truly breaks my heart to think about the victims and their families. They endure unimaginable pain, yet society…
I truly believe that humans are the worst things living on this Earth. And yes, every time Whiteboard shows up, I want to scratch him and that needs praise because I rarely get mad mad lmao
Not this nonsense. This has been debunked years ago when her childhood photos came out and let's be for real, no surgeon could ever make anyone look this good!!
Stop dragging in stars who when Dilraba isn't even thinking about them that way! It’s honestly embarrassing, for the star and the fans, to be that delusional about where your fave stands next to her. If the only way you can hype your fave is by tearing someone else down, I’ve got news for you: your star isn’t that big of a star.
I'm waiting to start watching it when its well underway - about 10 or more episodes I think. Going to be difficult…
It's embarrassing for them. Baba has really taken it upon herself and immediate team to reshape the direction of her career. If their fave can do that instead of putting out dramas that just pander to audiences then they should and their fans should call to account their teams. Alices do it all the time. Out of everyone in her generation, she's one of the few diversifying her portfolio. It irks them that she can be away from the scene and still be beloved.
My favourite thing about Sword Rose is that the drama centres around the "story" and not the "star." It could've easily been seen as just another #Dilraba drama but DY isn't a Mary Sue & the cast compliment each other. Everyone has a role, a purpose, and a seat at the table!
I shared these thoughts on Twitter too because the conversations on there is incredible.

Very much so! It's so beautifully directed and paced. I'm on edge every episode as the cases are heartbreaking not to mention that it is taken from real life stories.
A reminder that behind every statistic is a stolen life, a broken family, a child robbed of safety. Human trafficking is not a distant issue, it happens in plain sight, fuelled by exploitation, desperation, and silence.
Good show and strong performance from Dilraba so far. What happen to all the Dilraba fans though? (< 2000 watcher)…
As long as its doing well in China because that's the data and audience response because that's the market that drives award consideration, national endorsements, and official recommendations.
When it comes to their children, they seem to lose their senses and believe anything scammers say. Unreal.
Their response is realistic. The loss of Little Spud is still fresh for them so they aren't going to be thinking straight. Helplessness and desperation don't lend themselves to logic.
How is this drama? Would you reccomend it?? I remember watching only a bit of ep 1 like a few years ago but i…
It's your typical wuxia with a bunch of people obsessed with cultivation. Its reasonably paced, the fight choreography is def 2020 coded which is average, and so many unnecessary side characters being introduced. But it is watchable if you can stomach looking at the ML's hair.
