Films aren’t like dramas, where early cast reveals are often used to spark buzz and attract investors. Many drama productions are still securing funding or endorsements, so releasing the cast list early helps draw attention and support. In contrast, films typically have their financing in place before filming begins and rarely need to seek additional funds unless the budget goes over. The quiet period slightly before or after filming is usually reserved for strategic marketing planning, not hype-building.

Look it happens. It's usually a third party trying to incite fan wars so best to avoid it. All our Alices pour their love, support, and thoughts on this page so bring your good energy here. All are welcome except for haters of course.

She's got a beautiful soul for sure.

Friend, its AMAZING! Sword Rose is an unexpected dark horse but the drama is incredibly paced and written.

The FL from Empress of Military Lineage. I think she's petite, small enough to play the character as she has such doll like features but she looks cold when applied the right styling. I definitely think a 95 line will get it but she's a front runner for me

Le's home this adaptation, she leaves the cheating husband.

I am gunning for her to play Shen Miao. I think she would be perfect as Shen Miao as the novel often describes her eyes like deep water, calm and innocent on the surface, but with layers of complexity underneath.

Song Zu'er and Peng Xiaoran are my top picks for this role. The novel often describes SM as having eyes like deep water, innocent on the surface, but with hidden depths. Both actresses have that quiet intensity and subtle expressiveness that could really bring those traits to life.

Even a plastic surgeon couldn't create something that good! Be jealous elsewhere.

Vogue Thailand profiled Mikimoto and highlighted Baba: https://vogue.co.th/watches-jewellery/jewelry/article/mikimoto-les-petales-paris

Grandmas are getting into the drama:https://x.com/rebailisi/status/1951805560397107373

The best thing about this being a TV drama is the intergenerational audience it will pull in. Baba is an intergenerational actress the way Fan Bingbing was to Chinese audiences and I guess that gets under peoples skin for them to be constantly sending water armies after her.

Yeah she is definitely a key person. I also wonder if they are going to find Cripple

Slowed down for a bit after getting married and having children. It seems he took the time to get into father-hood and being a husband. A major transition so its good he is getting back into the swing of things. Definitely recommend seeing Sword Rose.

I guess Ranran isn't Madam Hong considering that she is alluded to be a little older esp being in a long-time relationship with Old Dog.

Right! The county magistrate would've have had Skinner whipped in the underwater dungeon for even smirking in his direction. Then the Emperor would've decreed a public beheading and 9 generations of descendants exiled to an isolated province LOL
