This current absence of Baba’s dramas reminds me of 2019. Around that time, she mentioned she hadn’t taken on any drama roles for nearly two years, choosing instead to focus on variety shows like Go Fighting. Back then, people speculated that even a rising star like Dilraba could hit a dry spell in her acting career. But there were also rumours that the real reason was a dispute with Jaywalk, allegedly she refused to take on the idol dramas they had lined up for her, as they didn’t offer much in terms of artistic growth. Not long after, she formally launched her own independent studio. This current quiet period feels similar with her on The Truth S3 and dramas in the loop, which makes me wonder if the rumours about her officially parting ways with Jaywalk might have some truth to them.
This is all just my private thoughts on the matter.
I think her first major red carpet appearance would likely be at either the ELLE Style Awards or Vogue event —…
Honestly, usually Alices in China will come through but I don't think her team are reading the feedback on the looks which are insightful. I hope Minrui is reading it and adapts intentionally. I am also not a fan of the ghostly make up they've been applying to her lately. That douyen, idol look. It hides away her noticeable features esp her eyes.

Honestly, considering she's sticking with the Rayback, I don't have any faith we'll get anything showstopping! For some reason, I keep thinking those events are gone but im mixing it up with last years ones.
yes im already in love with miji. she's like that one person who cheers everyone up even when they themselves…
She has such a wonderful and enduring spirit. I wonder if it comes from being forced into hyper-independence at such a young age—she always seemed to be fending for herself. Their parents were busy chasing stability, focused on earning money and caring for Mi-Rae, who was often unwell. It makes sense, then, that her memories of their childhood sound lighter, almost carefree. Meanwhile, Mi-Rae has had to carry that imbalance into adulthood—trying to make up for lost time, haunted by the guilt of always being sick and the financial strain she may have placed on their family.
Something tells me they are all going to be running that strawberry farm together lol Mi-ji and Se jin handling the agriculture side of it and Ho-su and Mi-rae will handle business/legal side of the business.
Mi Ji really has my heart. She has a lot of empathy for others. You can see it in the way she puts everyone else before herself—even when it hurts. Even as children, their differences were clear. Mi-Rae, the poor thing, looks dead behind the eyes. She looks exhausted, like someone who’s been holding it together for too long in a world that never gave her room to fall apart.
