I reckon there was also a lot of hurt on their end when Baba opened up her own independent studio so early into her contract. I guess she foresaw whatever it was coming her way and protected herself. But those other artists could've benefitted from huge exposure and projects in the early years instead they were helping other agencies by investing in projects that had none of their artists onboard. Silly.
