I'd like to see Reba and LiXian pairing in a modern drama though. Is it only me or do you feel he looks a tad…
I find him awkward indeed and the styles are hardly complimentary on him. But he does have a face for costume dramas but the aura isn't there sometimes.
I hope Reba doesn’t pick this one. The plot is suck
Agreed, considering there have been many names linked, I hope she gets offered Deng Hua Xiao instead. I prefer that one out of the authors works. But there must be something about this author, because Baba is always linked to this author's work..
The scriptwriter is from fox spirit matchmaker. Then Reba better not take it, its gonna be a flophttps://x.com/fkshi/status/1885674618285101288?s=61&t=Yrnxdn_o0bTsrl4_ZPwY7g
Really want her to act with more mature actors or actors around her age.
Even sadder that it's female fans of these male stars call on her age and look. Internalise misogyny coupled with a par asocial relationship with these male stars, is such a formidable disease.
Honestly, some of the best dramas is when there is a tension there between the FL and ML but they don't explore and leave it to the audience to decipher the dynamic. I'm on the same boat waiting for Sword Rose.

Heavy on Jing Boran - that man can act and he's such an attentive co-star from what I've seen, the same with Wallace. I also would love her to star alongside Wang Yang!
Dramas with substance is definitely a drama she wants and craves. I feel like when she stepped aside from idol dramas, she envisioned a career path similar to Tong Yao, Rachel Mao, or Rayzha Alimjan. A healthy mix of idol and complex dramas that really add to ones filmography. These dramas are a great gateway to doing feature films.
