She was billed as top when the drama was announced then later on, it allegedly became "ambiguous." Considering she is the bigger star and A-list, there would be no reason for her to second billing especially if she's being equally billed with YY who is a bigger star than Johnny. But the billing issue became an unknown issue as no official statement was made. I might be wrong with the announcement part but that's what I remember.
I'm currently reading the novel for this and it's quite good. The author has improved and not a bad effort for her first xianxia novel. I hope they bring it justice.
I really wish they’d team up for a drama, but after seeing the comments on the post, I got really frustrated.…
Fan feuds is very much a Western thing, particularly in pop culture, sports, and entertainment. However, what sets them apart is that celebrities actively participate in fueling and orchestrating these feuds, often with the strategic backing of their management teams. Western celebrities often have more autonomy in crafting their public personas, and feuds can become an intentional part of this image-making process.
The idea of "beef" or public rivalry is often used as a tool for maintaining visibility, generating media buzz, and keeping fans engaged. Celebrities, particularly in the music and film industries, understand the power of controversy and leverage it to amplify their personal brands. Their management teams help cultivate these feuds to ensure they remain newsworthy, fueling the cycle of media coverage. This not only boosts their relevance in the media but can also enhance album sales, concert attendance, or film sales.
West, East - Fan feuds is not a new thing, it's just in the Western, the way they've toyed with the concept is fairly new.
Jaywalk will be cursed forever for all I care. I wish nothing good on them.
