As you know, Baba is currently busy so she most likely declined her invite for March PFW based on her schedule. Dior would've just filled in those with whoever is on their invite/PR list. Going by past trends, Baba will most likely attend for September and this month is the important for fashion editorials. Dior also sponsored two magazine for two different versions of L'Officiel which makes up for it. She's also attending the Yunnan jewellery event.

Magazines rely on sponsorship especially if stylists and fashion directors need pieces to complete the set. Magazines also make money by the brands because they often pay for placement and targeted ad revenue. I see Dior and Mikimoto pieces in the shoots so I can tell they sent things through.

Right and I keep saying this, they had no long term strategy. The team are not innovating in the way they should. I get cnets has a certain way of doing things but its always good to be flexible.
They thought they could ride on the backs of Yang Mi and Baba for so long that it was obvious it wasn't sustainable. I reckon there was also a lot of hurt on their end when Baba opened up her own independent studio so early into her contract. I guess she foresaw whatever it was coming her way and protected herself. But those other artists could've benefitted from huge exposure and projects in the early years instead they were helping other agencies by investing in projects that had none of their artists onboard. Silly.

I reckon she can pull off any look in terms of make up. The only thing I didn't think was that good was the heavy eyelashes other than that, she can pull off most looks. Just got to still frame the face well
