Something got wrong in the end...
After 6 episodes, I wondered if the action would keep up this pace until the end. For now, the series is brilliant. However, the last episodes, especially the 35th and 36th, disappointed me.
Maybe because I am a woman, I was longing for a sweet, happy ending. You know—the main couple surrounded by kids, smiling and happy. Okay, that's too much, just kidding.
The ending was not as devastating as in Kill Me, Love Me or as the story between Xiao Yao and Xiang Liu in Lost You Forever, but it still falls short. After so many episodes of pain, tears, and misery, seeing the main couple truly happy would have been very satisfying. Instead, the ending is sour and leaves my heart uneasy, as if something is missing.
In my humble opinion, this great drama was ruined in the last 2 episodes. It was probably the most disappointing ending I've seen so far.
All in all, the drama is worth watching.
But only once.
