Being bullied by your aunt and grandma is quite different from watching someone being decapitated. I would be more surprised if she wasn't scared. Clearly she has shown she isn't too frightened by blood itself (i.e. she has treated lots of injured people and cauterized an open wound); but treating and injured person isn't any where near as traumatizing as watching someone be killed by decapitation.

YS is actually the worst choice of the 3, but the book reveals that later. With LY she would have had stability, affinity between playmates that may have even blossomed to love. With LBY she can have an all consuming passion and love that lets her mature, discover her true self (not just doing things because its the opposite of what her parents want) and while they will face some troubles, their growth at the end is worth it. With YS she will become like a dead tree, excited for nothing and just going through the motions of life; he eventually stops being such a condescending jerk and will fall in love with her, but she never reciprocates and sees him as nothing more than a person she is duty bound to i.e. she ends up dead inside.

So if we are being honest, the best option for the currently childish CSS who just wants go get away from her family and have things go her way all the time is actually LY. The best option for the woman she will inevitably grow into (as seen with her commandeering of her servants in battle against the bandits) is LBY

Giving up on an engagement and having your entire family die fighting for the king are not in anyway the same thing. To even suggest such is flabbergasting and disregarding the reason the Male Lead is so angry. HZJ being conferred a title of lady isn't because she survived some war, its because Her ENTIRE family fought to their death to keep the Rebels in Feng Yi so the wouldn't be able to attack the capital city of Ruyang. i.e. They died to keep the emperor and citizens of the capital city safe.

You can actually see that they are the same kind of people, which is why their fights never seem to end well. They are both stubborn, mischievous, petty, and like to have the last word lol. But as an elder and the mother I would expect Madam Cheng to show some restraint when dealing with her daughter but she never does lol

Yes! HZ seems to have really matured. I was counting on that, which is why I wasn't feeling bad for a sweetie like A' Yao having to marry her. Ultimately her bad attitude brought disaster unto her family. Glad she got her revenge though.

That wedding scene in the ghost village is so pivotal because we learn soo much about Wan Ning and how he feels in that sequence of scenes and its eventually the discovery of the pouch with the hair strands that makes Mo Ran realize what's been going on.

It really is. it's such an epic story of devotion, loyalty, unspoken trust and second chances. Even without the epic love between MR and CWN. The story itself is so heartbreakingly compelling.

Yeah, those days are def gone. Censors would sooner allow a group of men bathe together naked and call it brotherly bonding than they would allow an exchange of romantic words and lingering looks

The timing was just so awful. Since Master of Demonic Cultivation there was a spike in popularity of Danmei so they tried to crackdown and changed so many things in Word of Honor. But even without having ever read the book or knowing what it was about the directors somehow managed to make it come across super romantic and Danmei. and that pretty much just ruined everything cause the censor's tried so hard, there are parts where the dubbing is insanely entirely different from the what the actors saying to cover up the romantic innuendos.

Every time I come here I wish HYX had aired first and other clowns have to deal with the wait of their drama. 🤡🤡
