I thought about it... To refuse to support the cast and entire production team and the work they did just because stupid Youku edited the drama? No. I will watch it
It's strange. Maybe I see a pattern where there are none, but do you notice one interesting thing: 2023: A League of Nobleman, Jan 30 release (it's not a censored adaptation, but ended up on the shelf just like them) Justice in the Dark, Feb 18 release, cancelled, had to wait for rebroadcast 2024: The Spirealm, Feb 2 release, cancelled, moved to overseas platforms 2025: Justice in the Dark, Jan 28 announcement about release in Japan So events with such dramas happen within the same period, end of January - beginning of February, one drama per year. What's next in 2026?
Episode 20 is awesome beyond words... Superb acting!! It's stunning how multilayered and complex Tan Jian Ci's character is. Gentle but strong. Empathetic but in certain situations cruel. Sometimes even crazy... Now I'm really afraid he might go too far
I can't help but think that there's no point in comparing two seasons. They are just different and this is good actually! I would be rather disappointed if the second season turned out to be a copy of the first one. They explore something new and dig deeper into Shen Yi's personality, so... I'm enjoying the story a lot.
Finally some updates! Can't believe it.
