Gu Family Book had too many writing flaws to make it on my list. Also the leads weren't compelling enough to carry the story. It was the drama that could have been epic, but wasn't.
I don't think Dong Chan died. First of all, the prophecy didn't say that anyone had to die, it just said that…
I know, right? You would think that Soo Hyun and Dong Chan both would have thought of putting multiple tracking devices on Saet Byul given the fact that they know what's in store for her.
Also, I don't understand why they didn't record the conversation when they went to confront the president's son.
But the main thing that bothers me is that Saet Byul's kidnapping occurred because her father tried to use the jewelry against Myung Han. However, the jewelry wasn't found in the first timeline, so what set everything in motion? Did I miss something?
I don't think Dong Chan died. First of all, the prophecy didn't say that anyone had to die, it just said that the fate will not end until one of two disappears, not specifying if it's between two people, two choices or two probabilities - unless something was loss in the translation. The probabilities were #1 Dong Chan drowns Saet Byul and #2 He realizes she's alive and doesn't drown her. #1 disappears as soon as he sees that she's alive.
Having one of them die doesn't fit into the logic of the drama. If DC drowned SB, he would also die because the father had him killed in the first timeline and would again. If DC had died earlier on, Myung Han would have still had SB killed to protect the president's son. So one dying does not save the other.
The one constant in the drama has been that we were misled. Therefore the splash at the end was not DC or SB, but Soo Hyun coming to them.

You're very welcome! ^_^
I wish I had thought to download a lot of the subbed Arashi variety shows while they were still on YT because there were some really special episodes! At least there is still enough out there for us to get our Arashi fix, ne?
I just saw episode 5 of Shitsuren Chocolatier. It left me wanting more Rikudou!

Hi! I'm also an Arashi fan. I found them while following Ikuta Toma. When Maou came out, I became mesmerized with Ohno-san and had to know everything about him. At the time I was going through a period of depression and listening to Arashi every day pulled me through it. In those days it was a lot easier to find subbed versions of their concert dvds and variety shows online, but I think Johnny's started patrolling the internet and much of it has been taken down.
I really like your profile and relate to you a lot. I also love Nobuto wo Produce and Tumbling, and Yamapi. Although I've been watching more Kdrama lately, Jdrama is still close to my heart. ^_^
Your English is so fluent, I'm amazed that it's your second language. I so admire people who master other languages like that!
Also, this is slightly off topic, but has to do with WillKinn Media. My confidence fell a little further when I went to the website and saw a template that is mostly still sample fillers and a few spots where actual content has been added. When revamping a website, it's usually best to leave up the old site until the new one is ready to go. It makes people think that if you can't maintain a professional website, how are you going to manage whole productions? Not trying to be hypercritical, but I can't turn off the analyst in me. Please present a professional image so we can be hopeful about the work you're putting out.
I realize you put up the bbfseries site which actually works (except for numerous 404 errors), but investors and journalists will be looking into your company site as well. Perhaps just do a redirect to the WazEgo site.
I'm a big fan of the manga as well as the Japanese, Korean, Taiwanese and Chinese dramatizations which all had their strengths and weaknesses. Poor acting skills is not a deal breaker for me, but looking at this American cast has me a little concerned as they seem to have less experience than any other cast. Are they doing anything to prepare, such as reading the manga or watching the other versions? Seasoned actors usually do that on their own, but I'm thinking this group may need the suggestion.
Also, please, please use better promo pictures especially for Trenton Culkin and Jason S. Mordeno. I realize it may be too early for a photo shoot, but surely these people have better headshots? I couldn't find any decent photos for them when I researched the cast online. I'm rather concerned they don't self promote enough to have a web presence.
