Ep 6 there is NO way they would let the sister of a prime suspect work on a murder case since it is a major conflict…
I thought of that too and also when the other guy a couple episodes back worked on the case where his Doctor friend died. But then, I just chalked it up to maybe I'm too used to laws in the US and wondered if their laws differ.
All of the episodes are already made. Two episodes are released for viewing per week. Next 2 episodes are Wednesday…
Of course I don't know much about you or or you life, but I don't think it's weakness. A few people in I once knew were subs, and that's why I gave you props. Teaching is a hard, thankless job in general. But a sub is 1000 times more so. Especially with that age group. It was hard enough for me to be a parent to one at that age. Where they're constantly testing boundaries and figuring out who they are. My students at CC were fulfilling, but the bureaucracy was a nightmare. That changed my career trajectory. It sapped all the passion I once had. I was ashamed too. And my life was in chaos for a bit. But it led me to things I never would or could've done if I hadn't stopped teaching. Life is engima. And I try to think that there's always a silver lining or a divergent path to walk. Even in a small way. If I hadn't left teaching, I would never have lived in England for a year. I would never have gone back to school. And fastforward years later... I doubt I would ever have come across Asian Dramas. I still miss teaching, but I am also glad that I experienced the things I did after I stopped. I hope you are able to find to those small silver linings too. Even if it's leading us to this conversation in this particular drama that we both happen to be watching at the same time. :)

Props to you! I don't think I'd be able to do that. Especially as a sub. I taught computer classes at a community college. I had a wide range of ages, languages, and backgrounds, but the youngins were juniors/seniors in HS. Very different experience I imagine. :)

I understand. I'm no spring chicken myself. Could be a generational thing. Could be an ESL thing. Could be a typo. Could be a mix of all of them. Who's to know. The former teacher part of me came out to potentially bridge a gap of understanding. I'd say it's a force of habit (which it is), but it's also just my nature in general. :)
I don't know about others, but I like to rate it and type a note to myself as I watch each episode. A comment…
Exactly. It's been fun. Sometimes I love a drama's 1st episode and then meh by the end. Still Shining would be a good example. And vice versa. I struggled getting thru the 1st ep of We Are All Trying Here, but then as I watched more eps, I loved it. :)
Such a nice start. But as always, you guys started to give the ratings...
I don't know about others, but I like to rate it and type a note to myself as I watch each episode. A comment I read a couple months ago said they did that. So I tried. It's fun to see how my opinion progress &/or compare my 1st impressions if I re-watch the drama later.
