I didn't catch that until I watched a scene in episode 3 that was frame for frame the same as a scene in Something in the rain, and then I started to connect the dots. It really looks like it's a remake or very similar to it!

I feel empty now. I think I cried most of the last episode. Nothing is left. This was an amazing show. Can't wait to rewatch it in a couple of months when I don't remember most of it and cry again!

They truly gave us nothing in episode 11. I just wanted them to get to the point but very much a filler episode. I seriously had to watch it back to confirm and really nothing happens but the last 5 mins. Good thing that there is another episode this week!

wow, just the trailer was so beautiful. I can't wait for it. I hope it's packed with great cinematography like the trailer was!

YES I'M CAUGHT UP AND THEY SUCK. At this point they are all asking to die. That last scene at the end of episode 10 when they are all standing outside the apartment oufff....

I just finished ep 5 and man everyone in the apartment building is so dumb. Can't they just stay in their apartment and stop wanting to go outside the building or let people in. Everyone is stressing me outttt.

Why do I always start shows before they're completed? I'm trying to watch it slowly but it's not working out. This is so good!!

I really do agree with this. I'm currently on episode 11 and it is such a great show with great actors but I find myself having a hard time continuing because there is so much happening and I need other shows to clear my head and be able to continue.

it's my first time not being bored in the middle or near the end of a modern romance Chinese drama. I don't know what it is but this one didn't follow the typical tropes as the other dramas. There was always something interesting and the MCs had so much chemistry. I wished more of them could be like this one. It lost a point for me because of the amount of PP it had and the ending (which I can understand with regulations in china).

That's great! I don't know if you should follow my rating though as i usually rate dramas just as i finish them on my overall enjoyment at the time. I think i should wait a couple of days because as i watch more and more, i feel like some would have lower and some would have higher rating. Oh well:)

I've never wanted to erase my brain and watched a drama for the first time more than I wanted to do the minute I finished this one. Exactly my style!

I'm really sad that I started this at this moment. I was hooked on the very first episode and now I have to wait to get the rest of the episode. It's really my style and I love it!

The best thing the production crew could've done is cast this adorable little kid in the show. That kid had the responsibility of the show on his back. He's the reason why I stayed for so many episodes but I can't even finish the show as I now see all the little imperfections coming out that I could not see in the beginning and it's annoying me. It sucks because I was so close to the end... oh well!

I absolutely love this show. I actually watched the second season first (weird, I know) and I liked it way better than the first one. Still, it is such a feel-good show for me and would recommend it. If you can't do season one, try the second one, you won't get spoiled. I also can't wait for season 3 and hope that we get to see cast from both seasons and some new ones added to it :):):):):)!

I felt the same way. I really like Xu Kai other historical drama and was looking forward to this one. But I could not get into it. Maybe because the main FL was portraying a younger adult and for me she felt too immature? Not sure!

I absolutely get what you are saying about the FL. I didn't really mind the narcissistic side to it as it added a little bit of spice and contrast to the other FL and I quite liked the banter between them. Also, you see her change as you go through the show.
For Xu Kai, I've only watched this show and ALP and I enjoyed both characters. They were kind of similar so I hope to see different roles that he will play.
I had to stick until the end just because I had already invested like 40 episodes and wanted to know what would happen. You're kind of hinted at a happy ending but the editing of the last few episodes goes back and forth so you're just confused.
But there are so many better dramas out there, If you dropped it after a few episodes I would say leave it as it is.
