Going to a wedding in white or in jeans, T-shirts or trainers is really a total lack of respect for the people getting married. It's a special occasion, the guests should dress up a bit and in the west, white is always reserved to the bride.

It was from another era, where it was perfectly ok to do this. At their level, it was not "let's get married because we love each other", it was mostly business and political marriages. Feelings had little to do with it. So I don't see anything wrong with what the FL is doing. And why don't I see critics about the way the ML is planning his wedding? It's for exactly the same reasons, except that he doesn't do it to survive. The FL is trying not to be sold off to a man more than twice her age. If I were her, I would do the same and without remorse or second thoughts. Better a man my age who I like as a friend than an old man I don't know.

I loved the first episode, interesting, well paced. And the ML, his face is so expressive. It's my first time seeing him play in a drama, but I really like his acting.

He was not a lover. He didn't love her. He was just obsessed to the point he prefered her dead than happy with someone else. That's not love. He was just a toxic character.
