Their relationship starts with a misunderstanding that leads to a “sexual consent” contract with financial support. The drama portrays their relationship as one in which she receives humiliation from the male lead that acts in a cold and cruel manner towards her but still can’t help but try to protect her from everyone else, and the leading lady tolerates the abusive nature of the relationship (this is the disturbing part!). As the drama progresses, one can see that the leading lady, which seems to be weak and forced, is drawn to this relationship by different reasons.

My synopsis on this drama was rejected for posting so here it is:

Luo Ying, the illegitimate daughter of the head of the Luo Group, Luo Quing Shang, was drugged by her family and sold to Wang. That night she got into a bloody scuffle with him and while trying to escape jumps from the building, she fell on top of the car of the disabled Mo Leng Yuan, the seventh master of the rich Mo Family, who helps her. While drugged, she seduces the male lead and he brings her home where he finds out she is the destined one that can heal him and immediately marries her. Luo Ying is a woman with multiple skills and a mysterious life; Mo Leng Yuan is a seemingly cold hearted man that has never loved a woman before but, despite their differences in character and status, they fall in love and protect each other steadfastly.

My synopsis on this drama was rejected for posting so here it is:

Li Mo Chen, the heir of the Mu Group, has been suffering from a debilitating illness since he was a child and he’s been given one more year to live. Not only this ailment has no known cure but it also makes him incapable of having a relationship because he becomes ill once he becomes too close to a woman. On the other hand, Su Qing (played by Long Yi Yi) suffers injustice at the hands of her father’s mistress and, in order to get rid of the legitimate daughter in the Su Group, the mistress and her daughter plot against Su Qing by drugging her at a club to be defiled and humiliated. On that fateful night, Su Qing runs away from the rapist and ends up in Li Mo Chen’s room who is suffering flare up of his illness. Su Qin, under the effects of an aphrodisiac, becomes intimate with Li mo Chen. Li Mo Chen wakes up fine from the incident and he starts to look for the women that cured him from the flare up. That night, after Su Qing comes home, her mother is confronting her about a picture taken with the rapist close to her when someone pushes her mother out of the balcony and she becomes comatose. All of these misfortunes are planned by the antagonists to get rid of Su Qing who is sent to the countryside after being blamed for her mother’s condition.
Thinking that the woman that helped him is Su Quing’s younger sister, Su Ting, Li Mo Chen proposes marriage as soon as she graduates from college in three years. When the wedding timeframe comes up, Su Ting and her parents threatened to stop treatment for Su Qing’s mother if she doesn’t marry Li Mo Chen; thus leading the path to Li Mo Chen and Su Qing to start their fated relationship.

On her first life, Ye Cai Tang (played by Yang Mie Mie) loses her life during childbirth and finds herself reborn right before she got pregnant by the male lead Qin Ruo Han played by Lu Shan Dong. With this new opportunity, she uses her knowledge of the past to take revenge and make everything right for her and her beloved. (It is a super short mini drama but it is well done! Enjoy it.)

It is actually really nice. Although the leading lady looks younger than her actual age, her character is smart, strong, witty, loyal, and kindhearted.
