Break Free (2025), aka: 破笼, is a romance fantasy miniseries with good character development and story with ML: Zhang Chi (as Lu Zheng) and FL: Yu Yin (as Song Zhen Xing) in the leading couple's role, The cast did a phenomenal job ringing their characters to life and, although the romance is slow burn, they have great chemistry as a couple and a sensual impassioned romantic chemistry. The drama is quite log, around 4 hour, and there are some parts that can be skipped without losing content but the overall drama is well written and the leading couple performed fantastically. Close to the end, everything about this drama comes to light and the actions taken by the female lead are very justifiable but the relationship between the leads was not completely evolved and their time together is too short. Overall, the drama, even if one skips, has some quite funny scenes and it is entertaining, enjoy it!
