Da Shu, Jie Hun Ma (2025) is a nice romance miniseries with Sun Zi Hang (as Fu Zheng Ting) and Ye Miao (as Zhao Xiao Ya) in the leading couple’s role. This is another adaptation from the web novel "Zuo Bu Liao Ni De Xin Niang, Jiu Zuo Ni Lao Niang!" by Yong Hu. The cast did a good job bringing their characters to life and the leading couple had a good rapport but there were not many romantic scenes. There are some parts of the plot that are nice additions compared to another adaptation, (Shan Hun Dui Xiang Jing Shi Chong Qi Ju E (2025) with Tao Siyuan (as Fu Zheng Ting) and Zhou Zhaozhao (as Zhao Xiao Ya) in the leading couple’s role), but the lead couple on this drama needed more romantic interactions.

Huang Shu Qiu Fang Guo, Xiao Jiu Shi Nv Lang (2025) is a very nice romantic comedy miniseries set within a historical era with Nie Zi Hao (as Chu Di Chi) and Zhu Lin Yu (as Chu Li) in the leading couple’s role. The cast did a good job bringing their characters to life and the lead couple had a very good chemistry. Tthe male lead was great wooing the female lead that, even through the fact that she had many misconceptions about Chu Di Chi, she could not help but to fall in love with her steadfast protector. Overall, the drama is quite entertaining, enjoy it!

Title: Shan Hun Re Lian Jin Xing Shi(2023) aka: “Flash Marriage in Progress” is a very nice romantic comedy with Xian Jia Chen (as Gu Yu Bai) and Ge Xiao Xi (as Li An An) in the leading couple’s role. The cast did a good job bringing their characters to life and the leading couple has a very good chemistry. The plot is nice but it feels as if the antagonists were coming out of thin air. Been a miniseries, everything moves fast from one scene to the other. Although there are antagonists’ antic that put Li An An in danger a few times, Gu Yu Bai would run to her side immediarely. There is also the hidden character cliché but all difficulties are handled properly and fast. Overall, this drama is good enough to watch, enjoy it!

Title: A Story about Love(2025) is a very good fantasy comedy/romance miniseries between a werewolf and a human with Zhao Guan Yu (as Pei Xing Ye) and Lin Zi Rong (as Shen Si Wei) in the leading couple’s role. The cast did a good job bringing their characters to life and the leading couple has very good romantic chemistry. Both Pei Xing Ye and Shen Si Wei are smart, protective, and strong characters. The funny aspects of the drama is well delivered without going overboard and the CGI’s seem to be a art of the comedic genre that don’t take away from this well performed and entertaining miniseries. -Si Cang Yi Pian Zhui Luo De Xing Guang(2025) (Aka: Hiding a Piece of Falling Starlight) is a very nice romantic comedy with Ma Shi Yao (as Zhou Mu Xing) and Li Ai Xiao (as Jiang Mian) in the leading couple’s role. The cast did a good job bringing their characters to life and the lead couple has a good romantic chemistry and great support for each other. The female lead was a tiny stiff in the romantic scenes but Ma Shi Yao managed to compensate and they did well together. There are the usual family back stabbing for the CEO position and the second female lead was intolerable, but the lead couple worked together to overcome the antagonists shenanigans.

-Ta Yi Fen Chun Wen Zhang Xia (2025) is a very nice romance miniseries with Zhao Zhen Dong (as Zhou Ji) and Joey Chua (as Xin Zhi Yao) in the leading couple’s role. This is yet another adaptation from the web novel "Xiao Jiao Qi Yan Yi Hong, Jin Yu Jiao Shou Lan Yao Hong" by Lan Qi Ming. The cast did a good job bringing their characters to life and the lead couple has a fantastic chemistry. Zhou Ji is a dream of a husband and Xin Zhi Yao is a determined and strong female lead that knows what she wants and what she doesn’t want from the man in her life while Zhou Ji happens to be the whole package. It is nice to see how they come to fall in love as they protect and support each other.

This is a very good version that, although it has a very happy ending, it comes rushed with an absurd twist and the ghostly make up on the male lead to make him look older since, in real life, the leads are only 1 year apart.

Redeeming Love (2024) is a thriller romance miniseries with Garvey Jin (as Gao Xiu Yu) and Baby Zhang (as Jiang Tong). The story is about Jiang Tong coming back after being betrayed to take revenge and reclaimed what was taking from her four years before. Gao Xiu Yu didn’t trust Jiang Tong and sent her overseas unbeknownst to him that her own family also betrayed her. Coming back, facing threats and uncertainty besides Gao Xiu Yu gives them an opportunity to help each other and build trust one step at a time. The story is nice and the leading couple has good chemistry but Jiang Tong had a blank facial expressions for most of the drama. Still, the actors did a good job bringing their character to life and the drama, although slow at some moments and the ending was rushed, is entertain, enjoy it!

The drama has a lot of versions with different actors so it is difficult not to compare. In this drama the actors did a decent job bringing their characters to life and the leading couple had a good friendly, playful, and intimate chemistry. One thing that could’ve been done better is the lead couple’s facial expressions but, overall, the drama entertains.

Rainforest Passions (2024) is a great mystery romance short drama with Dai Gao Zheng (as Qi Chuan) and Zheng Miao (as Su Xia Mo) in the leading couple’s role. There is also some very well done action scenes and revenge on the plot. The cast did a very good job bringing their characters to life; the storyline was cohesive and the characters’ actions were driven by their true nature. Dai Gao Zheng and Zheng Miao have a fantastic chemistry and, although they loved each other deeply, Su Xia Mo and Qi Chuan’s hesitations can be understood taking in consideration their upbringing and circumstances among their relationship and that of the other characters. Overall, the drama is very entertaining, enjoy it!

Tao Hun Gong Lve Zong Cai Pian Yao Chong Wo Ai Wo (2024) is a very nice comedy with Chen Si (as Si Nian) and Long Yi Yi (as Lu Jing Chuan) in the lead couple’s role. The miniseries is listed as a romantic comedy so, there is obviously a romance plot line. The lead couple is incredibly cute together and Chen Si can really act charming and funny when he’s with Long Yi Yi, who naturally exudes cuteness all over. The intimate scenes are subpar but the overall playfulness and/or lovability before and after the amorous scenes make this miniseries worth of been seen. So, don’t watch if expecting an ardent romance but, if the viewer wants a lighthearted, funny, and pleasant drama, this drama will be pleasantly entertaining.
