Dang Xi Jing Ying Hou Zai Ba Zong Nue Lian Zhong Bai Lan (2024) is a miniseries with a good premise but fails in acting and chemistry. The leading couple is strong together and apart, they truly fall in love and supported each other against antagonists’ continuous plotting to bring them down but they lack romantic chemistry and their amorous scenes were covered up meticulously shifting the body from the camera. Overall, although there are some parts of the drama that are interesting, the actors didn’t perform with the intensity that the plot needed to bring this drama to a higher standing.

Circle of Love is a well done period miniseries about revenge and the deep love that the leading couple had for each other in spite of the hatred brought up by misunderstandings. The leading couple did a great job delivering their characters and they had a solid chemistry whether they were hating or loving each other. There seems to be a misunderstanding about the male lead’s feelings toward the female lead; in every single time that they had a relationship, he always loved her but that love brought guilt and he would result to be cruel to her even if he was also hurting. He would lie out of fear of losing her and her hatred and hurt made her susceptible to manipulation from the antagonist. Although he really wanted to kill her parents as revenge, he was on his way to stop the explosion. To explain and see the ending as one that both leads deserved, one must understand that there have been many incidents in which people have survived such injuries. Obviously, they were badly hurt and neither of them knew that the other one had survived. Due to their professions, it is logical that they found each other in a war zone giving the drama a happy ending. This miniseries has a solid plot and is very entertaining. Enjoy it!

Undercover Affair is a well done and performed action thriller miniseries with a heartwarming and steadfast romance. The cast did a fantastic job bringing their characters to life and the leading couple had a great chemistry, not only romantic but also on their common experiences and ordinary meetings all the way to their most dramatic moments. The series is short but the writing and editing is well done while they worked with an arrange of different settings, costumes, and some well done action scenes. Overall, this miniseries delivers credible characters, underworld, conflicts, action, and a very nice romance storyline; enjoy it!

This miniseries is a very nice romance drama. The leading and supporting cast did a good job bringing their characters to life making this light drama very sweet and heartwarming. This drama has a leading couple that has loved each other for ten years but, because of threats made against her career, the male lead rejects her. As she tries to move on and he sees that he’s bound to lose her. His feelings take over and he pursues her relentlessly just to have to endure her rejection. Even in this little tug of war, the leading couple still shows how much they care for each other and, once the truth about his rejection comes out, they come to understand that “united we stand, divided we fall”. From the moment that they decided to stand together and face their feelings, their beautiful and steadfast feelings made way to a beautiful, dependable, and rewarding love story. Enjoy it!

This is a miniseries about the an alien and a terminally ill woman that fall in love and find themselves in an ill fated romance that leads them to make decisions and sacrifices to keep on living. It is a very good drama that, even if the romance develops fast and the leads face two antagonists, at the end of the day, love prevails and the series have a very suitable ending. Some acting is not the best but the leading couple did great bringing their characters to life and they have a very nice chemistry that makes this drama quite entertaining. Enjoy it!

Marry Me, My Queen is a nice romantic comedy miniseries done within a historical setting. Although it is not a high value production in matters of costumes, background, and palace furnishing, the drama has a nice plot and the story develops nicely. Although not all actors gave great performances, the leading couple and their closed supporting cast did well bringing their characters to life. The female and male lead have very good chemistry and there are some really funny moments like when she is fantasizing about their relationship and some other incidents with her consort Yun Fei Ran. Don’t Mess With Ex-girlfriend is a lighthearted nice miniseries in which the female lead, An Duo Duo (played by Zhao Qing), is betrayed by her fiancé and her girlfriend and Duo Duo ends up in a fake marriage arrangement with the leading male, Qin Qi (played by Anson Chen). Although the leading couple has very good playful chemistry and their romantic intimacy is well done, the female lead’s eyes lack a bit the expressions of the feel of falling in love in comparison with the leading male’s eyes which convey beautifully. The drama overall is really nice and entertaining and the end is heartwarming and beautiful, enjoy it!

Nice To Meet You is a drama that had a good premise of fated lovers facing obstacles and promising to always love and trust each other but the plot and leading characters could not live up to their promises because of the antagonists’ constant plotting against them and their failure to be completely honest with each other. This drama could’ve been better if it had about 30 less episodes since the story dragged and became repetitive. The leading couple had some nice interactions and romantic moments but, because of so many instances of doubt and push and pull from the lead female, their chemistry didn’t flow naturally. The supporting cast did well but there are too many evil acts and very little consequences. Overall, the drama could’ve been better but it is not that bad.

The Queen of Attack is a nice miniseries romantic comedy set within a historical period. This is a very entertaining drama with a good dose of comedy, romance, and political schemes. Even if the drama is not perfect, the story develops quite well and the leading couple did a very good job bringing their characters together. Some of the supporting cast did well but others could’ve done better. The comedy was done well and the romance plot line is really fun to watch and the leading couple has very good chemistry. Honorable mention goes to the very well done and heartbreaking scene on episode 4 when the female lead’s father relinquished his military power to protect her and she kowtowed to stop her father’s humiliation.
