Princess Hours is the Thai remake of the Korean parent story “Goong”. The story line has some changes that are really good and interesting and the plot flows nicely. The leading actors, Pattie Ungsumalynn Sirapatsakmetha as Kaning [Crown Princess] and Tao Sattaphong Phiangphor as In [Crown Prince], have some cute moments but their romantic scenes were weak and lack chemistry. Most of the elder supporting cast did very well delivering their characters but the second male lead and his mother in the drama were awful. Also, the leading female’s voice was too screechy! This drama is one to watch while waiting for a great one!

This is a very good action romance lakorn. The leading couple has great chemistry and did very well bringing their characters to life. Although some supporting actors were not up to par in acting skills, the drama excels in showing great feelings and camaraderie among Naboon’s and Rattawan’s friends and family. The soundtrack is very nice and fitting with the story. Although there are a few frustrating moments with the antagonists winning at every turn of events, the resolutions are satisfactory and the leading couple get to show their interaction as a couple throughout the last episode. The drama is really entertaining, enjoy it!

This is a great medical drama! Although the drama covers the controversial issue of euthanasia, the show goes beyond that to bring empathy and understanding for those that are suffering extreme pain related to misdiagnosis, rare diseases, traumatic events, and terminal stages of various conditions, especially from the medical personnel toward the patients and their guardians. The cast is excellent and they truly brought their characters to a believable level. This drama also have a romantic storyline with the main leads who exhibited great chemistry and rapport, but the absurd separation of three years without communication and the fast resolution without connection made no sense for two people that transcended misunderstanding and illness to beautifully fall in love. Although the last episode feels rushed and really disappointing, the medical part of the drama excels on its own. Enjoy it!

This is a fine slice of life drama. The drama brings about the conflicts and decisions of the characters as they grow through their college years into adulthood. From the four female roommates and their significant others, the drama explores human sensitivities showing their emotional strengths and weaknesses as they experience love, intellectual and emotional challenges, and the process of life changing events. The drama develops slowly and realistically, presenting conflicts of connection, interests, and values among the different relationships (family, faculty and students, friends, and lovers). The cast did a good job bringing their characters to life, the lead couple had good chemistry but their romantic scenes lacked enthusiasm and energy and their separation went too long (through about 4 episodes) without any interaction and the end came abruptly . Still, it is a good drama to watch while waiting for a great one to come. Enjoy it!

This is a GREAT romantic comedy based on a contractual relationship with some heart tugging moments, consistent character development, well rounded characters, and a fantastic romance. The lead couple has strong chemistry and a well balanced progression of their characters. The romance develops realistically and the romantic scenes are very nicely done. The only character that did not deliver a good performance was the “villainess”, leaving the impression that the drama could’ve been just as great without her. This drama gives the audience a story where the main leads are always aware of their feelings and realities, are able to communicate their feelings without leaving misunderstandings, and are willing to work together to overcome obstacles. Although the leading man came as arrogant and too forceful at the beginning, that also is part of his strength in business and steadfastness in love. This is a truly entertaining drama. Enjoy it!

Although “The Power of Love” (aka “To Love To Heal”) is a drama that depicts love in a very endearing way, it is not a romantic drama. The lead couple spent a good time together throughout the drama but they don’t become a couple until episode 32 and it is quite frustrating to see how the leading man bends over backwards to show his love and there’s no romantic character development for the leading lady. So it is safe to say that romance is the backdrop story for this drama that centers on Zhang Zheng Lan’s business, Jiang Yu Ru’s one sided infatuation with Zhang Zheng Lan, Luo Zhi’s complicated involvement on his friend’s demise (Shui Guang's Boyfriend), and Xiao Shui Guang’s liveless demeanor after blaming herself for her boyfriend’s death and almost everything else that goes wrong around her. If the viewer is looking for romance and great chemistry among the leading couple, this is not the right drama to watch, but overall, is it tolerable.

This is a really good fantasy period drama. The drama has a good story line and the cast did a great job delivering their characters. The leading couple has great chemistry and their romantic scenes are very nice. Having said that, this drama had too many fatalistic ending to the supporting cast and, although there’s a seemingly and rushed happy ending for the lead couple, it is a bit confusing at the end. There’s also an overuse of flashbacks and the main couple didn’t displayed the strength of character that developed through the first half of the drama. Despite these shortcomings, the drama is entertaining. Enjoy it!

This is a good drama to watch while waiting for a great one. The drama is lighthearted with some melodramatic moments. The acting is fairly good and the highlight of the drama is the relationship among Zhou Shi, Bi Qiu Jing, and Lin Fei Fei. The drama is full of clichés and the resolution between Wei Qing and his cruel and absurd mother was sensationless. There were some good romantic moments between Wei Qing and Zhou Shi, and between Ning Fei and Lin Fei Fei. Sadly, the rewatch score lowers the overall score. Although the drama is not memorable, it is entertaining. Enjoy it!

This is a good thriller with a nice, but not extraordinary, romance story. There is character development and a good portrayal of raw and intense emotions. Although Lee Ahn’s character’s development is progressive throughout the drama, the insistence of the premise that he lacks intellectual value really takes away from the greatness of his persona, leaving a sour note every time his dumbness is addressed. The drama has suspense, romance, some comedic moments, supernatural element, and tragedy.

Because of Meeting You is a very good Chinese remake of the Korean drama: Come! Jang Bori. Although the plot has revenge, a conniving antagonist, dysfunctional family, and a very nice romance story, this drama is more about the journey that it takes the female to get to know who she really was with the unwavering support and love from the male lead. The drama’s background is centered on the Jin’s family embroidery business and the fight to be the Lead Embroiderer. The cast did a great job bringing their characters to life. Lu Si Chen (played by Zhi Nan Li) provides most of the very interesting twists on the story through his plots of revenge against Zhang Yu Xin (played by Wu You), and the leading couple had very good chemistry, mainly developed by the steadfast, charming, loving, and rascal personality of the male lead Li Yun Kai (played by Deng Lun). There is great character development for most of the cast on this drama. Although the female lead, Zhang Guo Guo (played by Sun Yi), has a naive and sweet personality, her character is also strong and determined. Even though this drama is a remake, it has some minor differences from the Korean version and it is very well done. Enjoy it!

This is a good romcom time travel historical fantasy drama paired with palace dynamics and political struggle, rivalry, deception, and romance, all in small dosages. The OST is lovely and refreshing. The lead couple showed good chemistry with a lot of sweet and also funny moments. The lead female character portrayed the doppelganger personality very well. Although the last four episodes clarify many unanswered questions throughout the drama, it seems as the leading couple lost momentum. Nevertheless, it's really entertaining!

Review is for both seasons:

This is a fairly good lighthearted and fun drama in matters of plot that offers a romance mixed with fantasy/supernatural storyline, but the overall acting is not the best; the female lead wasn't at her best although the male lead was engaging. The second season offers more character development. Still, the drama as a whole (both seasons), delivers some entertaining moments that are good for a short and simple watch that the younger (teenagers) viewers and the young at heart could enjoy. The music of this drama is nice and there is good chemistry among the characters.

This is a very good drama! The drama had a good opportunity to become great if it not be because the power of the fox clan was played out without splendor; but the love story, which is the main plot, was nicely laid out. The OST is nice. The leading couple has a great and natural chemistry on set. Some have said that the end was bad, although it could have been better if given a chance; he found her and would remain by her side after giving her a chance for a full life through his sacrifice. This drama is engaging and entertaining, enjoy it!

This is an excellent drama! This drama is a thriller with a heart! Full of raw emotions, it depicts the lives of those that are impacted by the actions of a psychopath and also the determination to not let such tragic and inhuman events destroyed the lives of those affected. This drama portrays every character’s strengths and weaknesses in such a crude and natural way that doesn’t foment any sympathy or desire to understand the nature of the psychopath but it immerses the viewer into the heart of the protagonists and those around them. Although considered a romantic thriller by many, I would say that it is not; the drama is a thriller where individuals are still able to love beyond the circumstances. Everything in this drama is carefully done and the performances are stellar. Enjoy it!

This is a great fantasy romance drama! Although the drama’s background story focuses on the supernatural nature of the characters, the main plot is the lead couple’s love story and the circumstantial concept of life and death. The cast did a great job bringing these characters to life, but the lead couple is really impressive. Gao Han Yu (as Qi Xun) and Charlene Chen (as Shuang Shuang) had one of the best and most natural chemistry. Every moment that they were on camera together was mesmerizing! Their love story is intense, tender, passionate, fun, and ethereal.
SPOILER***
The end is not confusing! In Qi Tian’s diary one can see that her brother was the most important person in her life and she always felt sorry and indebted to him. Since Qi Xun and Shuang Shuang felt that, regardless of how much they loved each other, they could not be happy without Qi Tian, Shi Lang and Kun Lan created a perfect lie to make Qi Tian’s dream a reality, which it was to see her brother and Shuang Shuang together and happy.
