just completed ep 25. I swear I need the brother to beat the shit out this loser husband. used her money to fund his business and the new home. treats her like object. they literally had a child together who is 3. she has good educational background and work experience, is actually smart and confident, not to forget her parents r both professors, her brother has high position and so does her future sis in law. Rose can leave him in seconds and start of new life and with her beauty she can attract better men but she spent all these years and money in him and he still doubts her. and the annoying ass mother in law needs a kimchi slap!!!!
OK, I just watched up to the scene where Su tells HZH in ep15 what happened to her at 16 and my heart broke. Like it was obvious the stepfather did something bad that she couldn't forgive him but I didn't realise it would be that. I thought he would just be verbally and physically violent etc (not to say that isn't bad, it is!) but I didn't expect what she said. it must've been so traumatizing for her and her little brother who witnessed it. both mum and dad need to be put in jail!
shangjue was about to drink poisoned tea. yuanzhi found out and came running to stop him. he knocked the tea out…
i got confused with a different scene. no neither of them dies in either scene. they made Shangjues scene so dramatic I thought he'd be dead but he's alive.
I saw a video on TikTok where Gong Shangjue died an Yuanzhi cried (my heart breakπππ) Who did kill him?…
shangjue was about to drink poisoned tea. yuanzhi found out and came running to stop him. he knocked the tea out of shangjues hand from afar and shangju threw one of the broken shards of the teacup at yuangzhi not knowing its yuanzhi...
also, I just want to say this drama is about Rose's growth and the reality of life. there will be lots of bitter moments but there also be small feelings of happiness that will remembered throughout life.
As for Miss Rose Oml that was an insane reaction! the way she literally trashed his place so bad. if I was the dad or ZGD I would've wanted compensation and instead broken up with her. although she is young and she grew up with all the attention and it's her first love she has no right to trash his place like that over a long-distance relationship. like this could've been dealt with way better. ngl I would think she has issues and be scared to be with her after that. but the acting by Crystal was so good here!
Listen ZGD was wrong for not telling Rose about Paris job, especially when she misunderstood it to be a holiday. although she would have been upset at that moment she would also think it through and because he was right there with her he could've explained well too. but he didn't say anything and let her dream on about this holiday. later when she does find out and wants answers, he decides to end the face call and she calls but cuts her and ends up powring it off. this just reminds me of when he walked out of the room when his parents were arguing it's the years of trauma he had to deal with because his parents, now also decided to run away and shut his phone from Rose. but the same he was in another city for a meeting which he can't avoid. he should've tried explaining from the get-go so this wouldn't have escalated or it wouldn't be so bad at least.
she goes separate with her 1st bf. meets someone new get married. things happen and divorce. she meets an old friend and they become soulmates and he dies. she alone? although there were clips of her with a baby and a child and giving birth so maybe shes not all alone.
out of curiosity, I clicked on the 1st ep to skim through it and see the vibe. but I just watched the whole ep in one go. it was so good. I'm going to continue watching later. I hope the rest of the drama remains like this and there are little to no filler eps.
