Sounds like a good alternative ending for everyone. Sometimes, it's ok to not have the ending wrap up beautifully…
I totally get you. I actually love sad-ending dramas such as Goodbye My Princess, The Kings Women, and Princess Agents. But I felt like Lost You Forever S2 was too rushed, they cut too much hence the time jumps were also confusing and could been smoother if they at least showed a better ending.
I really wish LYF had invested in some captioning, like "30 years later," even in season 1.There have been a lot…
with the cuts, i guess they have certain rules they have to follow because of cdrama regulations set in China. but I dont see the the problem with adding captions.
I wish the show had a better or smoother ending with "1000 years later" All the main characters were reborn but they are now just ordinary people going about with their daily lives, and there could've been small interactions where they walk past one another. but they are strangers now. XY could be a pharmacist/doctor, CX makes and sells wine, TJ could be a farmer, XL is a traveler who shows tricks, FL runs a stall and AN is XYs new apprentice.
Or they could've at least shown "100 years later" XL is reborn as an ordinary person and cause XY and TJ are wandering around the world they bump into XL but the couple just smiles at XL (happy that he has a good life now) but XL is weirded out by their gaze and carries on walking but then walk backward to them and asks XY "miss you are so beautiful, are you single?" (lol) and TJ tightly holds XYs hand and XL notices and just laughs and goes his way. XY turns around and watches XL going further and further not knowing if she'll ever see him again but happy that he isn't caged to loyalty anymore.
Either of these would've been a good ending and would've taken at most 15 minutes to show. They wouldn't have to go into detail but show the surface of their life.

agree with the captioning suggestion. usually, in other cdramas there would at least be a narrator who be like "..30 years later.." but here they just jumped around like it was every other day but obviously if you've been following the drama it wasn't. even with the cuts they could've added captions. then there would've been fewer complaints.
Kind of mad at how much they cut from one scene to another. and because of the cuts there were time jumps that confused me at some points. felt like they rushed especially the last half of S2. would've been better if they extended a couple more eps so it wouldn't have felt so rushed and they wouldn't had to cut scenes.
there was a 15 second scene where students were playing football, someone kicked it and it crushed the floor. I dont remember seeing Kanghoon, I thought it was the bully guy who Kanghoon beat in the beginning. who was it?
