Maybe because Moeum has her family and she lives a few blocks away. Whereas ML's dad was constantly at work and his mum jumped from one country to another, so he'd always been at FMLS place or with FML. Imagine the dad doing night shifts which meant ML had to sleep at ML's place often as well. Also, ML and FL are neighbors. So you can imagine ML and FMLs closeness as well as being close to FMLs parents and siblings. So Moeum is a very very close friend but there were so many more situations where only ML and FML were in.

exactly! I get that his life has been based on hers but for her only she mattered. From day 1 she had to watch her parents give more love to her younger brother so she worked on herself so much that her parents noticed her even for a bit. She worked so hard and she built her life somewhere else. At some point, ML said or was thinking that she should've realised his love for her cause they had been together forever but he had known her since forever, so shouldn't he have known how she had been starved of love by her parents and so that's why her main focus is somewhere else and not him.
I know that FMLs mum always drums when she is angry or sad. But I feel like it would've been more meaningful in episode 10 - if she started playing it but slowed down and the sticks fell out of her hand. This would have displayed how helpless and guilty she feels as a mother. Normally whatever happens within the family she has to hide her pain and stay strong and then play the drums to release it all but in this situation trying to stay strong won't do it that's how hurt she is inside for her child.
I'm 100% sure when FML asked ML "What are you gonna do for me ? Build a house for me ? " it foreshadowed ML would build a home for him and FML by the end of the drama and that is how it will end. And they'll probs have their little ones running around the garden.

totally. if he still tried dating and by chance fell for someone and even if he had lingering feelings left for FML at least he'd know that it's better for him and her to be with someone else rather than trying to get over someone and staying single the whole time and then faulting the crush for coming back and not knowing anything.
I find it funny that there were so many comments about FL not realising that ML likes her and that she's somehow supposed to know miraculously. But whilst FL was in the States she tried to contact him many times but he never answered nor replied once. I know he was trying to stop "his onesided" love but as a childhood best friend, whose parents have also been friends from the beginning plus their next-door neighbors, he didn't once reply. Most of the time when you try to contact someone several times, over a long period and the opposite never replies, the caller eventually stops trying, but here FL tried getting in contact with him every here and there. BUT HE DIDN'T REPLY... And the receiver would also think to themselves at least once "I've been leaving her on read/unread but she still sends me messages and calls. I wonder if everything is okay, Maybe I should just be like 'Hey, everything fine?' and then end it there if everything is fine." But no one is talking about this as if it's fine for him not to understand her but it's a grave mistake for her not to understand him!
