So I was looking at some comments on X and MDL about Love Next Door. Most of the negative comments were people saying "Same childhood connection trope bs again" and so on. And I thought to myself if you don't like the childhood friends to lovers or childhood connections trope then, why are you starting this drama knowing fully what you going into? Like don't you read the synopsis, or do you just follow the crowd and then start complaining? Just don't start it. It's as easy as that. Why are you putting yourself through that and then complaining about every little detail and having arguments with people who enjoy it? It is not just about Love Next Door but almost all drama that has the smallest childhood connections scene. Of course in some dramas like What Wrong with Secretary Kim, it may be unnecessary but in KDrama like Love Next Door, Welcome to Samdalri, Our Beloved Summer, Doctor Slump, Pinocchio, Fight For My Way, Weightlifting Fairy Kim BokJoo, The Good Bad Mother and more, its absolutely necessary and part of the plotline.

this show is so good! I hope they make a new season every year like Physical 100. It is doing much better in terms of rating as well.

ive seen all seasons of singles inferno but i dont remember his name or face. i think you got mixed up with another show.

I've seen BJW in so many shows and his food travels on YouTube. He's also known to be friends with BTS Jin, but I didn't take his food background seriously and thought he was just another celebrity chef who seems to have more fame than others. But watching this show (so far, seen up to episode 3), I realised how big he is and why. He is not just a chef by name but also by hard work, and he knows what he's doing.

I remember this was very popular and I think it was the most searched cdrama of 2018. I survived til the last ep of Ruyis Royal Love In The Palace (87 eps), i hope I survive this one as well, lol.

what a ride this show took us on. every character had their own significance they nailed their appearance and role, and their screentime was less but damn, they slayed it. they ate and left no crumbs. just give them all the awards. the show is 10/10

yep. like if you are going to criticise, then do for both, no one is better than the other here. And ik im siding with FML a lot but as I said it's cause ML has so many supporters and feels like they dont care who's right or wrong, it just felt frustrating. btw I think I went over the top with the explanation, lol.

I'm glad they got over it and they FINALLY found a common ground. but I just had to point this out because from ep 1 most comments, both in MDL and X were bashing FML for not realising that ML likes her, when all ML has been doing from ep 1 is being rude to FML. Even if they pass by each other he cannot leave without saying one mean comment, and then forging it as "I'm trying to stop my love from increasing, which I had to hide for so many years" which is true but at the end of the day his strategy was bs. Because think about it, all FML would be thinking "I just came back from another country (after going through so much shit) and my childhood best friend is just being rude every second. Maybe he has changed and we should not be friends anymore. Oh, I remember he didn't take any of my calls or messages when I tried contacting him so much. He even left me on read." If this were a real situation it wouldn't take long for FML to have a confrontation with ML and possibly stop being friends unless ML is truthful, but cause it's a kdrama FML just played around with ML and forgave him. But after ep 10 everyone just started liking them together and not talking about ML's behaviour. SO I HAD TO SAY THIS WHETHER FML AND ML ARE ON GOOD TERMS OR NOT.

all her dramas are bad. but i did like one of her dramas called graceful family, but thats it.

For some dramas, you needed to be in that era to like it.
