Ok. I have questions. Like why was Soon Ae killed by the yeon woo? Why did Mi Sook remark earlier that the culprit will never be caught anyway? Why did ML's mother abandon him with the grandfather previously? Or was she also killed when she decided to run away?
As for the reveal of the culprit...I feel like a fool. I was so sure the father was not the culprit. LOL. I guess overthinking is my weakness.
Hmm... I'm not really feeling the sincerity of the drama. Seems like they are more focused on presenting luxury and extravagance than the story itself. I'm not gonna lie, it all looks beautiful (especially the spectacular cast!), but I would rather appreciate more character development than montages...
This gives me a bit of Jinxed at First vibes. I loved that drama at the start, but they muddled it in the end. I pray this remains interesting. I like the premise, and since I haven't read the webtoon, it feels fresh. Although I am a bit curious about the present life's age difference between SH and JE. Can someone let me know?
I don't know why I'm watching this drama...*sigh* I don't find any of the characters likeable. Mi Rae is too naive, Joo Hyuk is...weird, Kang San is a pushover. MR's mother is the only likeable character. I had high hopes for this. Hopefully the story will proceed faster. Nevertheless, I should have known what I was getting myself into. It's a daily drama. Excuse me for my rant.
My theory might seem a bit outlandish, but hear me out (since I have a few hints):
I believe we Yoon Yeon Woo is not the ML's father at all. We have been wrong to assume that since the start. In the 13th episode, the Yu sub's uncle also says something along the same lines when coming out of the ML's house after the truth being revealed. He mumbles something like- 'his grandson? His son might not be the father though..." Also, the ML's mother has not taken the father's name still in this episode. We just know that the culprit is the father. But what if the father himself is someone else?? What if ML's father is Yu Sub? That will make a lot of things clearer... And the father probably knew this in the future maybe but still loved the mother too much to abandon the ML who was a baby.... And maybe the mother was killed by Yu Sub, who is the actual father of ML?
Anyways, whether Yu Sub is the father or not, I am pretty sure that Yoon Yeon Woo is not ML's father.
When Yoona acts, just drop the drama. You will never regret it.
I personally saw a lot of growth in her acting from K2 to this drama. She has definitely improved her emotional range. Let the audience be the judge of that. Otherwise, your comment may dissuade others from even starting the drama...
