I just finished taking a test I spent all night studying for before I watched this, a test that made me want to get up in class, crawl into the floor in a fetal position and mumble incoherently to myself, mind you, and thought, "Hey, I should treat myself with a nice movie. I deserve some cheesy romanceness right now!" Not the best of ideas on my part...

He's way too exaggerated... I feel like I'm watching somebodies kid brother, not a love interest. It's weird lol.

I know! He's missing in this one too. In the manga an J version he's without a doubt my favorite character. But it has to be THAT actor playing him anyway lol.
How was full house? I hear the male lead in that is really cold.

It's good! The way they did TaeJoon (Sano) is so much more likeable than the manga and the Japanese version. He's so cold in those... I hate that.
It's missing some of the normal cliche situations that make me love dramas though. Besides that, I'm really liking it. :)

I think the fairytale the original series was inspired from is The Brothers Grimm's Die Sterntaler. Or at least they mention it a lot (comparing the female lead to the orphanage girl in the book). I'm guessing that's why! :)

It's going... lol. No, I've gotten to the last two episodes now. I was watching 12 until I got to the end of part 1 and had to switch an hour ago. Then I got distracted. It's never a good sign if I have the time to finish something and instead I just slip off into internetland. Or if I'm on here. That means I'm ready for something else. ;)<br /><br />Yeah there's a remake. It came out like a year or two after the first version came out, aaaand it seems to look exactly like the first. I don't know why and I haven't watched it to see the differences but I won't feel too sad if I never get around to it.<br /><br />How's AB going? Have you watched episode 13 and just not recapped it or is the thought of even watching it killing your soul? :P

Totally with you on the I wish the girl would end up with the good guy thing. Some times I find myself thinking, "If I dated someone like that I'd need serious therapy..."

Hm... frustrating! lol I've literally been on that ep for months now. And I'm so close to the end too. It just drives me crazy. I think I'm going to like the Taiwanese version best actually. Taiwan is a little less conservative so they'll probably offer up more awkward scenes than Japan or Korea. They seem to stick closer to the original manga too. From what I've seen so far anyway.

And I saw that on Viki yesterday! :) I want to be excited but I'm a little burnt out on Hana Kimi. There's the Taiwan version, the original Japanese version, and then the Japanese remake.

I'm watching Love Keeps Going right now. Well, I'm almost done really.

I've watched like three things because Mike He was in them so I understand. I didn't even realize it at the time. If I don't have the time I'll totally check out a recap, though I lack a life lol, so that shouldn't be a problem for me. ;)

Yes, I agree! It's one of the reasons I love dramas where the girl dresses up as a guy so much. There's so much risk to it, and you know somewhere in the future something super embarrassing will probably take place. Like the scene where Tae Kyung was watching the assistant try to put the bouncy balls back and he thought she was hitting on Go Me Nam (well, Go Me Nyeo) had me laughing so hard. XD I almost wish he hadn't found out she was a girl then so I could have watched the awkward looks that would have taken place afterwards.

I remember the kissing scenes from BOF and I always felt so awkward watching Goo Hye Sun stand there uncomfortably in that too. Maybe it's just me but she seems to avoid having chemistry in most of her roles. O.o I haven't seen everything she's been in though, so I can't say for sure. I keep wanting to get around to watching it but since I've read the manga and know what happens I'm kinda bleh about it. La La I Do though looks cool. I read the summary and I'm definitely going to have to see it some time. :)

I agree. He just has that kind of smile. Too mischievous to trust, but too innocent to really believe that he could ever lie to you.

How's Absolute Boyfriend and La La I Do going? I've read the manga (to AB) so I know how it goes but how are you liking it so far? :)

In the first episode or two they get drunk (after getting rejected and breaking up with their significant others) and her dad, who's team is about to be disbanded, decides to sneak into her room and take their clothes so he can tell them they slept together and guilt trip her friend into playing for the team.

It's really funny. There's a lot of cheesiness and cliche moments which I love (I always feel so bad for the male leads who have to play those roles; you know they can't consider that fun at all lol). It does start to drag after they begin training. Even I got bored after a while. It serves a purpose though, turning the guy from a weakling into the captain of the team, so I understand why it was needed. It could have just been condensed.

All in all I like it. I always find awkward situations fun to watch. And comedies. :) But I'm a mushy romantic at heart so.

I cried at the end of this and I couldn't for the life of me understand why... I think I'm just soooo unhappy that these two people ended up together. If I dated a guy like this I'd assume that I need therapy. No offense, but someone forcing me to like them, constantly manipulating me, and never saying a kind word unless it's after they've crushed my soul (just a little) is messed up! Maybe I just have a thing for nice guys (I really do) but this was too much. And I kept hoping he would change and get better, like most of the jerks in dramas seem to do; he did not. And she just accepted it.

The part were her middle school crush said Ahmon could take his place for her father and make her happy all I could think was, "no... have you met this kid?" I never really witnessed him making her genuinely happy through most of this series. She was always in turmoil over something.
