Only on episode 8, but I feel so bad for the ML for having a possessive girl pursue him to marriage. Even if they have a happy ending, the ML feels like the victim of a stalker.
I'm only on episode 10 but this is my little rant.
While I understand Jang Geun Won plays a role of the "evil villain" along side his father, every scene of his, I end up feeling bad. He obviously has some sort of mental trauma caused by his father and yet the story focuses on him being a jerk. If he wasn't raised in the Jang family, he would have some sort of morality. There are many scenes where it shows that he is tortured by the death of Saeroyi's dad and when Geun Won's father was covering up the accident, he showed guilt and remorse only to be further tortured by his father by forcing his underaged son to wring a chicken to death. As he grew up, he was afraid of his father and I can't help but feel that his trauma led to his continuous child-like behavior throughout the drama.
Areas of the story was cliché but I enjoyed it nonetheless as a stress relieve from finals. While I do agree that the ending was "draggy", it also felt a bit rushed with how everything seemed to have summed up in one episode.
I think the movie was alright. It was a fun little watch but the story either needed to be stretched some more or the lines needed to be rephrased because when it was time for the ML's confession, it became a little creepy. And the stubbornness on him saying "you're my girlfriend" without any context to the FL was out of nowhere. Even if the FL found a reason as to why he said it, a typical first reaction would be: stay away from the dude. Like the FL said, they had no interactions with each other before so it didn't make sense for him to like her.
Just watched a few episodes of this but one thing that irks me with these type of shows is why do the staff take away the casts' money? Not only does it not look right for a celebrity to beg or bargain for supplies because they do have the money to pay for it, it's bad for the people trying to make money. And the bargaining is not just a small reduction but a large amount. I hope behind the scenes, the business owners actually get paid. I get it if the production crew wants to make it more entertaining with a limited amount of money, but most of the time, the amount they give to the cast is ridiculous. 600 bucks for a month's use with 4 adults and 5 kids. Wow, just wow.
Negotiator put me off when I first watched it but after Brightest Star in the Sky I became a fan of his acting. Might go back to Negotiator to give it a second try
Seeing this actor again just reminds me of his awful character in Granting You Dreamlike Life. Hopefully I can…
Awful as his acting is awful or the character was awful? I plan to watch Granting you Dreamlike Life, but if the acting is awful, I don't think I'll watch it
I dropped season 2 but picked it up again. It was good to a certain point but then I felt like it was just dragged for too long. I see there's a season 3, part of me says to watch it because I've already gone so far but oof
Just finished watching the drama. Can someone please explain the alternate ending for me? I'm not fully understanding the situation there. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S8fJd9S62Lk
At 7:25, the eng subs said something about Xiao Mo being a director, does that mean he made the drama based on what happened in his life?
I hope to be wrong, but I am doubting Yang Yang as the choice for that role. He can be incredibly beautiful as…
I agree. The chemistry in the roles between Mark Chao and Yang Mi really touched me. I don't think anyone can past that, but I still want to watch the movie.
