Agree, for me Dashing Youth is one of the best dramas of this year so far. I'm really enjoying it :). As what to watch next : the trailer of Fangs of Fortune looks impressive too, but its much darker i think. But it also has amazing cast. :). Cheng Yi is amazing in Wuxia and Xianxia too, but no such genre of dramas from him this year. Only Deep Lurk will air in 2024 i guess.

I agree with you about the actress, I also think that she's very beautiful. : ) Actually almost all the actors and actresses are beautiful here, amazing cast. As for comparing DY with TBOY, if people watched it carefully it also had beautiful romantic scenes, probably less than in DY, but there were. The sword dance of Lei Wu Jie and Ye Ruo Yi was very beautiful romantic poetic scene. The Whole love story of two sword Dieties Zhao Yu Zhen and Lu Han Yi was very romantic and beautiful too. So there's romance in both of these dramas, and i think it's good, it makes it more pleasant to watch, because it's filmed exceptionally beautiful. ^^ 🌸
Dashing Youth is a prequel of TBOY because of that people can't stop comparing the 2. But i suggest you to watch it as separate beautiful drama... Dashing Youth has amazing cast, very beautiful and talented actors, same goes for CGI, costumes, fighting and romantic scenes. Yes it has more romance than TBOY but it's filmed beautifully and poetic... and it also has lots of humour ^^ Baili's family and relationship between Lei Meng Sha and his wife and daughter made me smile and even laugh in some moments... as female i found lots of funny bright moments in this drama so far. Even though i know that by script there will be sad moments too. Its 1 of the best dramas i've seen this year. 🌸 It's not worse than TBOY. Just this drama is different, it has a different character. It evokes different from TBOY emotions and feelings in me. 🩵🪽
Baili's family is so hilarious. From grandfather to father, his uncle and even his mom. This ""Pleasant Death"' scene in 7 ep. made me smile a lot. : ). And many other scenes too. Hope the rating will go up. Because this drama deserves more by my opinion. Not less than TBOY.🌸

Sure but still I feel like in real time and space concept something of these two was first, even though it remains unknown to us. The same is with this jade, it didn't just appear magically from nowhere, and even if so it had to be shown. Everything has some logical starting point in history by my opinion, even mysterious and uncommon things. But well logic, concepts and perceptions differ from person to person, so it's just my opinion. But I liked the drama despite this. : ) 🩵🪽

I also don't like when people give ridiculously low rating to dramas. Tbh I don't give too low ratings even to dramas I don't like. Because I understand that there're different people, different opinions, if I don't like some drama it doesn't always mean that it's bad, it means only that I have a different taste. Well except Chinese drama I love all the animals and birds, trees and flowers, Nature and especially Spring. Just as Deity of Love i have a lovely white Persian cat :) Probably i will take also white doves, golden fishes or some dog later i love them too. What's wrong with rating guys? Be more generous. Even though I usually don't rush to give opinions before I completed the drama, but so far this drama is amazing, I enjoy it not less than TBOY. Neo and all the cast did amazing job. Acting, Fight scenes, costumes, CGI, cinematography, OST, everything is gorgeous. I Wish success and high rating to this drama as it deserves. : ) 🤗🩵🪽

Many people complain here about the sound of the OST songs played during the dialogs. Yes it was loud, but i still could hear their voices. I liked the acting. plot wasn't boring too, chemistry was good too by my opinion. Only the ending dialog was too short and not very original, but overall i liked this drama. Not the best, i liked "Secrets of the shadow sect" more, but i enjoyed it. : ) 🌸
