I agree... unfortunately he outshined not only the plot but also FL :) I like when in drama both ML and FL are strong and beautiful. (when they protect and save each other). Here it wasn't like that. 🌸

Actually the ending is very clear. Read my comment above pls i wrote about the ending in details. She forgives him his lies and accepts him with his real identity and promises to travel with him where he has to go. And their final dialog is quite long and they even kiss and hug. So it's definitely a happy ending. :) Read all the comments here... like 95% liked this drama and praise beauty and chemistry of the leads. ^^

I don't think he was distanced from her anyhow. He loved her the same. Because of that he jumped from the cliff to save her without thinking a second. He didn't return to her because he wasn't sure if she can forgive him for telling lies from the beginning about his identity. He looks at her and they show that she's wearing hairpin which he made for her. Which means she forgave him, she loves him and wants to be with him. And he says that she mistook him for someone else. And says that his name is Tang Yan not Yingshi. And since this moment she calles him by his real name and accepts him with his real identity. And doesn't want to part with him and wants to travel with him where he has to go. So for a short drama the ending and their final dialog is quite long. But if you think that it's short, in the end of the drama it's written "Many thanks to the crew and audience. Look forward for our new meeting" which i think is a hint that there will be second season about their adventures together. :))) 🦋
Amazing mini wuxia. Very underrated. Try it you won't regret. Beautiful leads, nice plot, great chemistry, great acting, beautiful OST. The cinematography of this drama is very beautiful. One of the best I've seen so far. 🤍 and everything is done with a great taste. It s a pity that the director Zhang Ao is not stated in drama info in MDL. Well, for me it was after 7th and after 9th for sure. When she starts to behave normal, true self with him. But don't expect many romantic scenes. They say that even most of kissing scenes were cut. So it's more funny than romantic. This drama is more about making the dreams come true and how true friendship and love helps on the way. : ) 🌸

It's an amazing drama. There're many characters and each of them has unique design, unique CGI , unique personality, and martial arts. The main character played by Li Hong Yi is not likable in the beginning, but it changes soon, and he becomes as heroic as his new friends risking his life for them. People who like more realistic wuxia probably will not like it as much, but i did a lot. Beautiful CGI, good acting, good plot, beautiful OST, especially the opening song. 🎶 Very Heroic and inspiring. There's no much romance here. it's mainly related to martial arts too but those romantic scenes are made in a very beautiful way. :) 🌸 My advice: Don't give up on it in the beginning, probably it will surprise you later. ^^
