idk if this will help but if it does, her character is supposed to be that way, apathetic, it gets revealed in the later episodes but basically it is because of her mother passing, its explained very nicely in an episode and how she overcomes it. The drama gets soo much better towards the end or at least it did for me i'd definitely recommend watching the last few episodes, or when they get together in university to really feel their cuteness.
