the most adorable chemistry ever!

truth be told its not my most greatest watched cdrama atm,
it was nothing special to me but also nothing awful

i dont do well with xianxias but this started off AMAZINGGG i loved mu qingges and yishui's dynamic, and i liked that the RR undertones were still there in parts of the drama.
though it was very boring and repetitive for me in the middle, which is why i skipped some episodes as well
but one thing that stayed consistent and amazing was the leads chemistry
deng wei proved to be such an amazing actor i had no idea!! the yearning in his eyes? oh yeah thats the stuff
not just them even the side characters were great!

overall, this kind of plot isn't for me
but if you like action, great fight scenes and a complicated plot this is for you!

Beautifiul and healing

not the best but definitely not the worst,
one of the most beautiful and heartwarming cdramas i've seen in 2025 so far tho!

what i liked:
The story:
its so realistic man. often with dramas they try to come up with the most bizzare out of the world way for the leads to meet and end up but this one? felt so natural and real.
i at first thought it was a ''love at first sight'' thing which i don't really dig, but it started as a little crush from the ML's side and blossoming into such a healthy relationship, felt so real no pushy situations that felt off just to push the leads together.
-The OSTs:
every song is so catchy and absolutely beautiful, definitely going into my playlist.
-The cinematography:
idk how to explain it but its filmed like a kdrama, every scene is so beautifully shot and holds great meaning, gave me a sense of calm.
-The leads:
goddammit both the leads are such green flags! usually you see the ML giving his all in a rls but in this the FL is setting the standards hella high as well!!
-The side characters:
so positive and funny, loved MLs fellow doctor in the hospital his grandpa, FLs friends and her parents!!

however:
-The chemistry:
it was GREAT don't get me wrong, but at times felt a bit dry and awkward, both the actors are great and talented,at times i was even giggling and kicking my feet y'know. but nothing extremely memorable, still very beautiful and inspiring .
-2nd couple:
loved them SOOOO much even with so little screen time they were adorable, just wished they gave their rls more development, still liked how nothing else interfered in the leads relationship.
-The ex-bf:
the infamous jackass:
his character felt out of place even though hes the reason FL has insomnia in the first place, wish they explored his character, his reasons for his actions and stuff, would've made us feel for the FL even more but meh.

overall:
watch this when you're traumatized or tired of toxic plots, its very healing and inspiring.

second one were fine, i liked poor hagi being so confused but they were very cute in the last episode
i LOVEEE asagi hes adorablee but i dont get why ppl like fuji, shes weird to me,
her entire personality is being a fujoshi and r-rated bl mangaka, and idk to me using real ppl are references for your NSFW work, AND taking pictures of them asleep tied up? its creepy, she is very hot tho but doesn't excuse her creepiness.
solid 5.5/10 from me

SOOO WHOLESOME AND ADORABLEEEE

oh man this almost gave me diabetes with how cute it was it ALSO made me cry. :D

the storys follows two individuals falling in love, growing up and experiencing life with their adorable friend group,
its everything i ever wanted in a highschool cdrama.

the story progresses very smoothly, the sweet days in their high school to the harsh unforgiving environment of the ''grown up life'' was so beautiful and entertaining to see.
all the characters were extremely likable like no one toxic character here, it felt so raw and real.
the groups friendship was one of the most real i've seen bcz yes friendships have ups and downs and you part ways sooner or later but this was immaculate.
the ending was so fluffy, i love the leads trust and love for eachother, no stupid misunderstandings so breakup so nothing just pure love and commitment.
the other characters dynamic was fun to see the second leads hurt me so bad they're on and off thingy was tiring but man they are just so cute i cry for them.
overall a solid 9/10 WATCH IT

THE MOST BEAUTIFUL JMOVIE IVE SEEN YETTT

MAN this was ADORABLE
the plot or story isn't something out of the ordinary but MANNN the execution? perfection.

Everything from the characters feelings to their romance is so perfectly shown goddamn i shed a tear.
what i liked:
-the FL: I felt for her, a people pleaser who hid her true feelings behind a mask, i felt so bad for her because her emotions felt so real especially thanks to the great actress.
-the ML: Hot dude who is a green forest, helping the fl gaining confidence while also showcasing his vulnerability.
-the cinematography: I have no words because the sunrise, the sunset and the rooftop scene all made me cry they were so beautiful
-non-toxic adorable and supporting side characters

Funny, adorable and entertaining. solid 8/10

lmao i honestly went in with no expectations but i was pleasantly surprised.
anyone willing to invest their time in this, MUST know that this is literally not made to be ''great'',
its inaccurate sometimes, has little plot holes and the story may get dragging during the middle,

but the entire idea of the whole story being written by someone else is really refreshing and cute.
The writer (also the fl) writes a novel about literally EVERYTHING where she is the FL in the novel as well.
This has a contract marriage, supernatural powers, detective mystery, childhood friends to enemies to friends to lovers and two other adorable pairing with their own dynamics lmfao.
The ML in the novel exits irl as well, and him and FL meet at the end of the drama,
you might not want to see it bcz of it but their chemistry is so amazing trust me you'll end up wanting to.

the story is so incredibly hilarious and the FL and MLs acting and chemistry was what made me like the story so much.
so in conclusion,
def worth a try if you want something funny and unserious! <3

never gets old

This is officially my comfort show, its one of those dramas that never gets old no matter how many times you watch it, at least for me.

what i liked:
-the chemistry:
uhg i keep coming back for them, bcz both the leads served amazing chemistry and bond. Those gazes? those heartfelt love confessions? the hand holding? the kisses? the hugs? I LOVE THEMM, they're too much for my heart, pure fluffiness.

-the fl:
yes i can understand if she cringes you or pisses you off when u first watch it, but they give me girl some good development, she wasn't their jst to prove her love but also to prove her role as a nurse, and she does both of them simultaneously and in a truly lovable way. Shes sooo adorable its hard not to fall for her optimistic personality.

the ml:
uhg takery satoh, every time this man appeared on screen, i paused and screamed for an hour, hes just tooo fine, and plays kairi's role jst perfectly, everything about him? perfect

the story:
it blends romance, comedy and the hospital environment so nicely, you can never get bored watching,its a treatt.

what i didnt like:
-random close ups, lmfao they caught me off guard.
-im not gonna lie some moments gave me major second hand embarrassment.

overall though:
every ''bad'' thing about it is excusable and forgettable for me, this drama got me into jdramas, and i love it with my entire heart. i need mone and takeru in another drama ASAP PLEASEEEEE
10/10, give it a shot BUT if u dont understand anime/manga humour, yeah skip this one.

cutest chemistry, beautiful love but editing/direction could've been better

this is easily one of the cutest cdramas of the year but some people aren't ready for that conversation. If fake kisses and or lack of them bothers you, may be skip this one.
i might agree with some stuff about it but one thing i won't is that the chemistry is ''bad'' nah i call bs, the chemistry here is the STRONGEST and most ADORABLE, and you can really feel it when you get past your hate for FL actress. (even though nothing is fs that no kissing was her choice or of her agency)

you can especially understand it when you realize LHC is playing XZ's role perfectly, XZ is meant to be cold,awkward and stoic. Why she is that way is explained clearly in the last few episodes, she becomes apathetic to the point she couldn't even cry. There is this entire episodes where she battles through it and finally lets her emotions out. she builds a wall around herself when she's with new people and doesn't emotionally involve herself with them, but with people she is close with, she jokes around, smiles and laugh, including after she got together with the ML.

moreover, for me personally? i see the love on her face and in her eyes. The birthday gift she set up for him, the heartfelt comments she wrote to him about the grabbing the last rose on earth for him, the letter after their break up where she said she would always love him, and before dating, when she challenged that guy to race her so he would apologize to the ML for bad mouthing him, i can go on but yeah. Her love is there, not outright loud or anything sure i agree but everyone's way of loving is different and i think how XZ does it is cute.

what i mean to say is, yes she seemed distant and stiff in the start of the show, but it gradually goes away as they get closer and closer together, duh you don't make lovely eyes and smiles at someone you jst met and dont like. LHC is a wonderful actress, with better directing during super romantic scenes and a bit more experience, she can nail it!

CLZ is an amazing male lead, cute, adorable and whipped. The ring idea was the most creative proposal scene i have seen in a cdrama yet! wang anyu did a great job in this!! i will be checking more of his work haha

I do have to say, as much as i love it, it got particularly good in the last few episodes, or well, after they started dating in university reason being the hateful comments kinda killed the fun for me in the beginning tbh, but glad i stuck around.

some things i didn't like were well,
1)the fake kisses could've been handled better
2)their romantic scenes were cute, but there was this lack of skinship, LHC only does not do kiss scenes from her previous role is ''derailment'' she has done forehead kisses, hand holding and cheek kisses, i mean some were def here but i would've loved more!
3)some things didn't make sense to me, his past, what hes doing rn yknow his terms of study and career, and why they broke up before uni.

but all in all i love this series solid, 8/10.
