Title Our Skyy 2 Spoiler
Honestly... I don't like a lot of things. I know this is not supposed to be a "continuation", that it is a standalone kind of story, and I even got emotional when Phupha was seeing their written moments, and we saw some flashbacks, but still...

Some parts just make the entire character development from both Tian and Phupha seem nonexistent. We know they're heavily stubborn, and that they had major communication issues before, but dude... No.

BTW, this has nothing to do with Pat and Pran, which I dearly love, but there's so little time to enjoy both them and PhuphaTian, that I honestly wish their stories were actually separated.

Of course I'm going to watch until the end, either way.

Gawin looks extra fine in this, every time he appeared on my screen I was like... Damn. Rooting for him, he seems like such a genuinely nice guy, and I gotta admit, first episode was hella entertaining.

A guy with a beard, finally!

Anyways, this seems like a cute, and simple plot. I'm in.

Acting was mostly good, leads had chemistry, they kissed believably, like people kiss when they're attracted to each other, storyline had a lot of potential, I mean, healing from an abusive relationship? Dealing with your trauma? The ups and downs of it? Falling for someone new in the middle of everything?

Unfortunately, due to the same reasons we've seen before in many, many other KBLs, regarding the lack of runtime, this wasn't it, and the plot fell flat. Again, unfortunately 😕

Younger Apo and Mr. Hot Ghost got me in a chockehold.

I'm going through my list of things I was supposed to watch, but never did, and the biggest mistake is to choose what I should or shouldn't watch, based on some ratings.

I understand this site is based on different opinions, and that people should be allowed to like or dislike whatever they want. Still, after just finishing this, it's just crazy to me that the ratings are bellow 8.

The entire cast was great, not only the leads (very honorable mention to Green, he surprised me so so positively), and the plot could seem predictable and easy to miss, but oh boy, it's the opposite. It feels mature, well directed, the episodes were long as hell, and it felt like much more than a simple BL, because it's so much more complex than that. It makes you think, makes you question.

From the beginning I thought to myself "well, yeah, there's no way for them to be together in the end", but the ending was very Jack waiting for Rose in Titanic for me, and I was bawling my eyes out at that point.

Just finished this. The emotional scenes were what really sold it for me. The teary eyes? The actual tears? Expensive tears btw. I like the plot too, predictable, but really well executed.

Ji Hyun thirsting over Jae Won, ready to bring him back to his dorm. Boy was ready to risk it all, party and everything. And he managed to be the cutest about it??? And they're one of those annoyingly cheesy couples? Deserve.

Let Ji Hyun have a boyfriend to put a heart close to his contact name.

The "game" metaphor Ji Hyun used, two steps back, three steps forward, was incredibly endearing. He was shining through and through, eyes, smile, he's the cutest thing ever. Persistent too. Good for him.

I like how things ended for them. It's not like Jae Won is magically cured and everything is perfect, but Ji Hyun is there, and though he's not supposed to fix him either, he'll be there for him, with him, and that's all I wish for them.

Honorable mention to Ji Hyun's whole circle, his boss, his friends, I love them.

Can't say the same about Jae Won's (except for Yoon Won, she's amazing), but oh well, if he made peace with those two then who am I to say anything, even if I think they had it way too easy in the end?

All in all, this gave me all kinds of butterflies. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful.

Pardon my ignorance but which drama is Skam? I am new to dramaland :).
Skam is originally a Norwegian drama, that got really famous in 2016, for their third season. Each season focuses on a character, and their "shame" (Skam means shame), their deep rooted secrets, and on the third season, we have Isak, and his POV. We see Isak struggling with his sexuality and trying to fit in with his friends. Add Even to the equation, the most handsome, most interesting, most everything. But it's much more than that, along the road they deal with so many important themes, and one of them is mental illness, all connected to Isak, Even, their developing relationship, their friends, everything.

Skam got so popular that they have a lot of remakes in many different countries (despite the original, I absolutely LOVE Skam France and also WTFock, the Belgian version). Remakes are great too, though I confess that I was completely against it when it was first announced, but it's nice to see different universes of the same character, it even connects with something Isak says on his season, about different universes.

Anyways, without giving too much spoilers, and without saying anything else, Skam is a very great watch, especially season 3, Isak's story. Isak and Even's story.

Me too! I don't want it to end and I secretly hope for an open-ended finale so they'll make another season. That…
I'm not a huge fan of open endings, but if it is well done, then I'm in. I trust this one, in whichever ending they're planning, and I'm very excited about it.

What I mostly picked up is that they were dropping a lot of hints regarding Jae Won and what happened to his brother, even when his asshole friends are rather insensitive about it, commenting things along the lines of how much better it was to not have a sibling to divide the inheritance money with. Also, on the first episode, when Jae Won fights with Tae Hyung (who was previously being the most unpleasant human being ever, and drunkly managed to thrown push Jae Won to land on the floor), you can see how Jae Won cracks and almost loses it. But then he wears his "mask" back on and pretends everything is lovely and going awesome. We know further down the road that he is always pretending to these people, and that he's tired of it. But watching the first episodes, we can actually see it, so that's nice.

I was re-watching the episodes (because of a few moments and things I wanted to see again that make much more sense now, like Jae Won mentioning his brother casually, to Ji Hyun, when Ji Hyun said he was a freshman, and also because I'm completely restless waiting for the last two episodes), and after their first contacts, when they see each other at Ji Hyun's work again, and Ji Hyun tells him his name, Jae Won literally stops dead in his tracks, looks at him, like REALLY looks at his face, up and down, and then he's able to continue with the conversation.

I love how their want for one another is so very mutual from the beginning, like Jae Won follows Ji Hyun with his eyes, to the point of turning his head to look at him in quite a few occasions, even when he's pretending he doesn't care.

Another thing, I see so many comparisons with Skam and definitely, I see a lot of things that are similar. I mean the sea kiss? Them playing on the water, then Jae Won kisses first as a "joke", Ji Hyun kisses back as a "joke", then they're making out, same vibes as the iconic pool scene with Isak and Even. Both scenes beautifully done, this is not in any way a complaint. Different from Skam, where we unfortunately only got to see Even's POV on a clip during the final season, Sana's season, I'm so glad to see Jae Won's POV regarding his feelings, his insecurities, his motives.

Again, I can see similarities, but in no way I'm comparing the two series or saying this or that is better. I'm actually quite impacted by The Eighth Sense too. Literally on the edge of my seat waiting for the next episodes.

BTW, another favorite thing is that what triggers Eun Ji the most is that, from the beginning, she could sense how drawn Jae Won was to Ji Hyun, and no matter what she does, if she's with him or not, it gets stronger and stronger, and she can feel it.

Ji Hyun standing his ground is everything I could've asked. The last scene on episode 8, and the way he didn't hesitate to say things as they were, how he feels. I just wish the best things for him. He deserves the entire world, honestly.

Jae Won? Nah, I know he's acting messy, and his approach towards pain and how he deals with trauma is Skam levels of frustrating, but I get where he's coming from. He thinks Ji Hyun is better and safer without him, which is bullshit, and to be honest, that almost screams how he feels towards him, in reality. I hope he realizes that he's suffering, Ji Hyun is suffering, I am suffering, everyone is suffering, like PLEASE.

It's crazy to me how Jae Won has the worst people ever surrounding him. No one cares about him or how he really feels, and therapy can only do so much, if he keeps on being surrounded by those people. Even Eun Ji, she doesn't love him, she doesn't care about him, I mean, she doesn't even really know him. Her wanting to be with him is much more about her ego than anything else.

For what I've seen he's not going to deal with his trauma the best way, quite the contrary actually, and I hate to see him like this, because I know he's going to feel like shit. Plus, I CANNOT stand seeing Ji Hyun being hurt in the process.

I finally got around to watch this, episode by episode, and honestly, overall, I love it. Leads have amazing chemistry, and I can't even imagine how frustrating it was to watch it week by week, with all the push and pull between them.
