THE INNUENDOS, THE FLIRTING, THE OBVIOUS SEXUAL AND ROMANTIC TENSION, THE WAY THEIR RELATIONSHIP IS PROGRESSING SLOWLY BUT SURELY, NATURALLY.
Pupha SMILING at the photo he took of Tian.
I swear I have chills whenever they're near each other, I was feeling like an absolute intruder in the scene where Pupha was dropping Tian off at home, and they obviously wanted to do something, to move ahead, but didn't really know how, the awkwardness of it. I'm living my best life witnessing this delicious slow burn with my own two eyes.
Tian remembering a shirtless Pupha, like, whaaaat?
THE BACK AND FORTH SCENES with Tian and Pupha "admitting" they have feelings for one another.
TUL, MY MAN, love a friend like him for Tian. Dr. Nam, ALSO MY MAN, drunk or sober, he keeps spitting facts upon facts, official captain of the team, best wingman.
Tian thinking he might be gay was a nice touch, the fact that there's no "but" involved, we are honestly TIRED of the "I'm only gay for you". Sexuality is not black and white, is much more fluid than people might think.
Despite ending on a heavier note, the kite scene was shot beautifully. I'm worried about Tian, and I hope he takes better care of his heart. Those dudes are definetely coming for him too, I think things are about to be even more dangerous now, unfortunately.
I'm ready, I'm loving it, I'm excited, I want more. Can't believe we're almost on episode 6.
Pupha affectionately saying that Torfun is (like) his SISTER is music to my ears. They spent almost the entire episode teasing about Pupha and Torfun in a way, so it was great to hear it, even though it was kind of obvious.
I loved how Pupha and Tian's conversation was floating naturally, and how he told Pupha about his heart. Of course there's a lot more to it, but we're getting there.
I love, love, love slow burns, we're only on episode 4, Tian is at the village for almost a month already, and it feels so natural to see them around each other, the lingering looks, the way they act, how Pupha is clearly crushing hard on Tian and Tian too, I mean they were both a little jealous of each other? The smiles they exchanged? Pupha getting ready for the "date"? Tian saying that he was looking really good?
Also, Tian (king of the most beautiful smiles) and Longtae have to be the cutest cuties to ever cute, I just want to squish their faces and never let go, I'm rooting for that friendship.
There was so much happening, and then next episode where shit seems to be about to go down. I need a moment.
I'm a pile of nerves because of this so called special episode. I feel the heartbreak coming, I can feel it coming. Why? Deep down I wanted some cute moments that were unseen. At this point anything will do, I just want to see them (hope I don't regret this).
Every theory my brain can come up with falls completely flat after seeing the MV. BTW, I love the song, it's beautiful.
It was painful to see some parts. I don't understand how someone like Shi De who grew up loving Shu Yi, persued him for years, managed to become friends with him and finally had his feelings reciprocated, something he never thought would happen, just leaves him for five years.
Well, I guess this is everyone's biggest question, right? I'm even more excited for March.
Also, can we acknowledge Doctor Nam? Realizing from the start that Pupha had eyes for Tian, then later proceeding to tell Tian (not so) subtly to take care of Pupha?
I feel like next episode he's gonna keep being the best wingman ever, since Tian is asking him about Pupha and Torfun and Pupha is telling him about Tian's scars.
Tomorrow they're releasing a music video for Earth's song (the one that played at the end of episode 3, in the scene with Tian and Pupha), and it looks SO cute already. Of course, Earth and Mix are starring in the video.
Also, Friday can't come any slower at this point. I'm ready for the drama, the angst, the lingering looks (I love those the most), and everything else. I wish I could just drop it and watch the whole thing after all the episodes are out, but I can't.
I haven't read the novel and I was really skeptical about the whole thing, after reading the synopsis because I thought it would begin with a straight romance, and then "the guy would fall for the other guy because he has his girls heart" on and on, and dude was I WRONG. I'm really glad I misjudged, because this story is so much more, it's beyond that.
I watched the BTS, read a few things here and there, and I totally respect and applaud the effort the whole team put into this series (also, HUGE respect for the people who were actually waiting for this to be released for so long).
To me, despite it having only two episodes out, this series are incredibly interesting, entertaining and I love the length of the episodes, love the atmosphere, love the characters, it all seems very well-thought.
It doesn't hurt that we have Earth and Mix as mains either, and I'm not talking about their obviously great looks. Especially Mix, with it being his first real acting, I guess it's general consensus that he's doing an excellent job.
I guess we're so used to tragedy and cliffhangers that the fact that it ended up being the sweetest thing ever was actually surprising to me. And why the hell not? I feel peaceful rather than completely on edge because of something ending up badly or completely unresolved. I liked the hopeful ending for a change.
Also, I'm really looking forward season 2, just to see what they can do. It seems like they're still going to be competing? I hope they're still together five years later.
We started 2021 in a great, great manner. I can't wait for March ❤️
I'm still thinking about that kiss and feeling incredibly sorry for whoever saw that scene and only that scene. I mean, everything that came before, every moment that leads to the kiss makes it a hundred times more special. The acting really is superb, hands down one of the best I've seen in a while if I'm being honest. Again, the tears. I'm weak for crying scenes and their tears didn't felt forced, in fact they were real AF and I love it, I love it, I love it.
Underrated, handsome, charismatic, amazing, talented guy. I've seen many actors who sing (many overrated tbh), and yes they're good, but Jeff's singing is just... Another level. His acting is great too.
I saw some interviews, little bits of videos, him interacting with the rest of the cast, and he seems to be the sweetest dude ever. As Kinn his entire demeanor, his body language, everything changes, you can feel that powerful aura all around him, he looks even smug about it, and I'm really excited to see him outside of that (amazing, btw) teaser.
