Keeping my fingers crossed! Eh, I wish I was in Italy. It would be nice to see him in such event for the first time while being XZ fan. I hope this time it is real, not a rumor. After all that silence Shrimps deserve finally some moments of happiness !
Eh, as if C-dramas were naughty before... They were not. I do not understand what's more to censor here. The worst…
You are right, I have not seen that much, but I doubt that c-dramas had ever such scenes like for example first season of GOT? As an European this is what I consider naughty lol
The scariest thing about new censorship is, be prepared that we gonna get so many cuts especially on romance part…

His acting skills are above average. Except for two dramas, his projects are forgettable and the quality is questionable.…
Thanks for your opinion, but I do not understand why wasting an energy on someone you do not like? So far I found mostly reasonable fans of Xiao Zhan, at least here, maybe on Twitter there are worse. I think he can sing, you can hear him a capella in his videos. He does not sing on stage anymore though. As for plastic surgery, I have no problem with that, since he looks better than before and the effect is quite natural. If I had money and courage I would correct something as well. Plus there are some features he was born with and cannot be achieved with surgery like height and nice body proportions.
You mean WYB needs to improve his acting. Xiao Zhan did very well in Untamed.
WYB is not that bad. But still it is Xiao Zhan I would like to see in movie with Tony Leung, not him...I like them both, but feel jealous a little of WYB getting such movies :(
Tbh the comparison is awkward since one is a studio pic (that is whitened by fans on top of it and the other is…
Yes, Studio content is usually the one in which XZ looks best, but the photos are edited for sure. He did not have any ancient costume drama recently that required him to lose weight too. Some of the ads can make him look really not his best like the one I saw recently with him holding a glass of milk and smiling uncomfortably, but some are great (like YSL). However, his schedule seemed to be IMHO much more cramped in 2019 than it is now. He had ads, variety shows, magazine photoshoots, stage performances. And he could look great and fresh all the time. And now he has only ads and drama shootings...So I think he is not as busy as he used to be.
Just saw the news myself. Congratulations to WDB on obtaining its distribution license! May it come early in 2023!…
So we have last year alike situation, when XZ most fresh drama (Ace Troops) released earlier than the one shoot earlier (TOOL), which is...interesting.
You are comparing two photoshopped pictures with different lighting out of context. As far as I see by what XZ…
Ofc it is not mine bussiness, I just state my opinion ;) Zhan in blond? I would not mind, we still remeber that Harper's Bazaar photoshoot with silver wig. It was cool. This is daring XZ I am missing these days :)

Hmm, but does being a serious actor mean he must present himself as 50s year old in his 30s? It is still a young age. I always thought pretty face is quite important in cinema in general. Naturally there are exceptions, but those are kinda rare. And ofc beauty is in the eye of beholder ;) What I truly mean that it happened way too fast, that transformation of XZ. Like there was nothing in between youth and maturity. I am glad that at least we still are seeing short echoes of XZ youthfulness in his vlogs. But that is all, sadly. You are right about his face though...If I remember well, L"Oreal ads were shot quite earlier this yea, when he was still in his role of Xiao Chungsheng. The hairstyle of that ad we discussed matches the character older version hair. Maybe indeed he could not leave the role even for an ad... I should go to the therapy then, since as a mature woman I prefer boyish types like Chalamet or 2019 Xiao Zhan. I think there is nothing pretty in aging and it is rather sad process, that reminds us that everything passes. But this is inevitable ofc. I wish I could know XZ earlier. It would be easier to cope with his changes.

Then idk what filter L'Oreal used, but I guess it was aging filter 😅 I do not want him to look 20 years old (though he looked like that not long ago), but actually do not look older than he is like in this ad. Ofc it is not his fault. I am only sad that it happened to actor I like. Maybe I just analyze too much...

The 2022 pic is not actually photoshopped but a screencap from a video, a recent L'Oreal ad. I would expect from such company to make their spokeperson look his best, and yet... I know people say XZ was thin in Untamed, but I always state that his face looked best that time, and it did not lost it's brightness. Nowadays, he can look wonderful (my user pic), but sometimes he looks starving and much beyond his years...It is a mystery to me. I hope he does his exercises properly,...His body was nice even before imho and he really did not need any bulking up, if loosing face freshness was the price. Especially if he does not show his body that much ;(

I ask myself why. I have flashbacks from Bollywood actor SRK who once began to dehydrate himself in 2008 and exercise to have six pack and started to look similarly haggard as XZ. But he was well over 40! I am really worried about Xiao Zhan. Something bad is happening to him. He looks way too mature for his age. He is a young man still, he should blossom with energy and freshness :(
