I can't agree more, this one is a madman who destine to receive no love or loyalty. He received YX's respect and love but cherish it on the surface then use that love to force YX to submit to him and pretend to teach YX about family love while also asking him to be ruthless. This animal is a contradictive one, I hope he won't die a peaceful death at the end, be just like the Yongzhen in Zhen Huan story.

Well, this drama just didn't stat clearly about salary or share, though I think HZ already gave FD more than anyone else including herself, looking at how HZ gave out the wage the two time in the drama, FD got the most.

Birth is one thing but there are also many factors needed to open a business. Open a business is easy but making a business sustainable is difficult. Not only talent but confidence, wit, courage and connections building are needed. FD was free to save up her money to leave and open a restaurant but competing with HZ? That's a brain matter. Also, how do you know HZ treat FD unfairly? Business was barely stabled, even HZ only took salary, no share and she also protected FD and supported her against his abusive dad too, if that was normal business partner, she didn't have to waste her braincells on that. You may not want to hear about loyalty but someone who bit the hand that fed her won't last long, she will get bitten by someone else aka her employees and that would be truly exploited. Though, I don't think she would be living well after leaving the Hua family, even with HZ's wit, she still needed YX's support from the back to stand firmly in the capital, looking at how she only go to Seven Star bureau but not government office.

Well, I think he's sent to the boarder so he can become a stronger weapon. But same as you, I don't think the dad love him as he has never been with his dad after his mom's death. Though, he didn't receive the emperor's sincere love too, what a pitiful child.

If you're new to palace intrigue, this situation is very common. The emperor suspect of his brothers/sons of rebellion. In this drama, ML is the heir of a Prince, if all directly line die, he has the right to the throne so when emperor took him under his "care" that also mean he's a hostage against his father.

I thought so too at first but after looking closely, I think she may act/dance to promote sth, like in theatre??
