I am an outlier then haha. I mostly watch romcoms yet I can't bring myself to read romance novels (except the classic ones), as my reading preference includes good writing style and solid plot. So am I a hypocrite if I enjoy watching adaptations? Idk.

People can have different tastes in reading and watching. Imo it should not be a question whether one is more elegant.

Understandable, it is another predictable mindless fluff one can enjoy lazily. What made it stood out is the well executed sweet, conflict-less story and **healthy characters esp the ML** which isn't much common in cdramaland.

Personally, the rating is okay for a modern cdrama standard, Iykyk ;)

I know about xincheng, did other actors also played their musical instruments themselves? If so, the violin couple is fantastic.
