lmao...this is not full comedy lol, I never seen this actor and I love this drama specially his character he conveys…
Watch him in stranger. He expressed every emotion without expressing any emotions. He is a top actor in Korea for a very good reason. The drama is extremely good too. I would highly recommend even if you are not into thrillers.
i'm only halfway thru ep 6 so idk what happens by the end, but i'm sorry i don't care what anybody says lol I'm…
Cheating is so despised that we don't even bother to understand the context. Tbh it should be so, cheating is heinous.
But you see, unless someone is a douchy cheater, someone in a "functioning, happy marriage" wouldn't cheat. And not everyone has strong mental capacity to resist the temptation when they are emotionally starved or abused. Yes, no excuses should give them a pass card to cheat but at least they also deserve to be listened. I appreciate that the drama continuously focused on the root causes of divorce from a flawed person's perspectives.
That said, the wife could be a gold digger and valued personal happiness more which could have led to their current dysfunctional family. The drama seemed to hint to that. Also, "she sacrificed her career to support her husband's career" also implies that she did so to enjoy an easy life off of her husband. Sorry, but that's not really a noble thing to do imo. No self-respecting person would do that.
Okay, I think it should end the hate the screen writer is receiving.

>Shin Sung's character personality is very different from the original. Shin Sung in the original work has a cynical personality, neat pomade hair, and always wears a suit with a vest. However, the drama comes out with long hair, horn-rimmed glasses and casual clothes for a short-haired man with a smirking personality. Same name but almost different level of people.
>In the drama, Shin Sung used to be a pianist and then a lawyer, but in the original work there is no pianist setting. However, it is the same as madly clinging to the bar exam to get revenge.
>Jang Hyeong-geun and Jo Jung-sik, who are Shin Sung's friends in the drama, are original drama characters that are not in the original work. In the drama, Seong-han's friend Jang Hyung-geun is the office manager, but in the original work, Lee Seo-jin gets a job as the office manager at Shin-sung's office after a divorce.
>The original < Sacred Divorce > is realistic because it is a webtoon drawn while receiving advice. As a result, the atmosphere is rather heavy and dark.
ok but seriously whats with all the people living with other people while they are still married? like the friend's…
The friend is too nice lol
The wife definitely cheated. He is too lovesick for his wife so he didn't divorce her with the hopes of getting her back. So she simply moved out and started living with her new partner.
Interesting contrast to FL's case. Both cheated because they craved a loving relationship just that one was stuck with an abuser and other one with a loving but busy husband with no time for her.
This is my first time watching a drama with a character that is quirky, weird, and peculiar but is so effing cool…
Stranger is a must watch. His portrayal of a emotionless prosecutor beyond the usual life-less MLs with micro-expressions is what dragged me to his Fandom lol.
Also life. Don't bother watching sysiphus the myth. Others are fine.
His movies are another gold mine, esp marathon, classic, tazza.
Do you know he is a top musical actor in sk? Do check out his musical clips on yt. You are going to get lost in his rabbit hole lol.
The drama only tried to point out that being emotionally starved/abused in a dysfunctional marriage can lead to cheating.
If you haven't been selectively watching, the drama repeatedly acknowledged the cheaters guilty and also included the impact on kids in such families.
If it makes you feel any better, the later case will involve a case of a cheating husband.

Both of them are shitty in my book.

The writer (drama) really deserves praise for recreating/creating the fun characters.

The acting is great as expected from the cast.

Again a case of disfunctional family.
